For me the best gel is the one that tastes good. I tried a whasp (the green one i think) i didnt like it ?so i stopped using it .I like the vanila gels and you guys didnt often one at that time. ?however with your vanila custard flavour gel coming out i will be tempted to try it assuming it priced right?

Well i see ?a few reasons 1. Credit crunch 2. Cederberg Mtb race? 3. West coast express - League and very popular funride 4. Double century coming up and teams choose to long rides opposed to a race? all those add up to low numbers

Quite the reverse. It was a very flat ride. usually the South easter plays havoc. Our races are usually in the range of 80 -100

Your current setup with out the frame is pretty impressive. So use the money to get a new frame and other things. What about a light set of non deep section wheel along with a 15k frame ??

Well as i understood it , any rim that it is deeper than 25mm is legal if it is on that list. Are you going to do licenced racing ??

Well we have more riders coming through the ranks that are more than capable to replace Burry. Such as Rouke Croeser Back to the main topic. Do we want kids younger than 16 to have the pressures of sponsors and contracts while competing ? they are still developing and to identify talent at that age (younger than 16) is hard as the majority kids only really start riding at a serious level from 16. ?SO the supposed talent we have in the under 14 level may not be as talented as the kid who hasnt even discovered the sport yet. We would then be wasting money on the wrong kids.

Sub 3 hours is easy . It is all about which group you are in. Do the Pedal power rides to better your seeding for the seeding events and then do those and assming you train enough it should be fine. I just broke 3 from D with 5 - 7 hours a week so to me it is more about group placing and riding experience than anything else My friend rode with me and he hadnt riden in 2 months and managed a 3:00:42 so it is all about seeding. I am sure some of the hubbers wont mind helping you in that regard on non league days

I have to agree with Chris H . Just see the white line being start of the gravel . You want to go onto gravel fine get your bike trashed ! IF you got road closure and you had to go down a narrow road would you ride on the pavement ? i think not .

If i may have my two cents worth please. I dont care who you are or what gender you are, if you screw up you must expect and accept any language being thrown your way. It is not right and i condemn it . I rode today with ladies who are very very compentent and i happily trusted them more than i do the male counterparts. I think the point they were trying to make is no matter what gender you are, if you arent compentent you shouldnt be there and must expect to be shouted at should you make a mistake. Nothingness i never got let into a paceline at all today and i did try. I am a junoir riding with older guys. People dont want ot let you in cos they like there positon in the bunch. It pisses me off but hey i survived

Which ones ?

Johan Bruyneel & Discovery- I would agree there, however They never got caught(stand to be corrected), however their unofficial repuatation never got them barred from competitions. So on paper the Johan Bruyneel & Discovery connection is clean one (again i stand to be corrected). Their riders got caught when they moved to other teams not on USP or Disc.

I think this is a bit stupid ! Hasnt management changed as well as alot of additional riders who rode for other big teams?. This means that despite all the changes the team has made to better it ,it is still barred ?

Apparently according to our rider they were sent the wrong way and got no points

Well a simple suggestion is to start doing the pedal power rides, couple that with a 3 x 90 min sessions during the week you should do fine ! Another suggestion is to get to tyour start pen early to find those quick guys and dont get stuck in a pack going slower than is needed !
