  1. I don?t know if there is water in the grease I used but after I applied some to the Triangle thingy near the PowerTap?s hub my Calibration went completely haywire . I recalibrated it but it only lasted for a few minutes before it was out again, I?d be doing like 300plus watts just spinning, then zero while doing tempo pace ect, completely f?ed up...<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> After the ride I removed all or as much of the grease ect from all area?s applied, did a 30min spin and all seemed ok. This morning I did another 1h30 ride and it seems to be working but now there is a constant doubt in my mind, am I really doing so and so many watts...
  2. I'd be interested in the CT Course.
  3. You can get a stem with a more hectic angle ointing upwards, looks a bit dorky but can work. I hope you talking about your Mtb now. If you using Flat bars you can get a few mm's rotating it it bit since all Flat bars have a slight curve, I did that with myne, works great. If there is spacers left on top of the stem, take them off and place them under the stem for to gain height also.
  4. Thx Bruce, do you know if Grease will also work, I applied a cr@p load to the Hub were it seals and to the CPU / Pins area. I did go ride this morning without problems but it was not raining so who knows. Will also apply some to the area Jason is revering to.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> That?s the one problem to stop the CPU from resetting, will it also help for the Hub to send a constant signal cuz I had both problems eg. CPU reset / switched on and off and the CPU lost signal from the hub for about 30mins on a on off on off basses every min or so. I have no idea what batteries I?m using Jason, think it?s Energizer 2032 in the CPU and what ever I can find for the HUB.
  5. I don't believe it!!? Sooo, now that we have establish that there is indeed a problem, were do you go from here? Last I heard was Mr Watt left the country? Were do I got for back up?
  6. Whey Protein is derived from Milk, it's apparently the "best" protein since it gets into your system better than other cheaper proteins like those derived from Soy Beans and albumin from Egg. You gonna have to eat less or train more to lose weight:-P
  7. damn, and here I htought this might have been a isolated case...I'll open up the Hub tonight and let some warm air dry it. Then I guess I have to close it a bit tighter and put some grease or something on the seal to stop anything from getting in.. But ja, it's really crappy when you've done a really intense training session and then lose some of it.. Might have to start thinking of getting a SRM.
  8. Thanks Bruce, I guess that is possible. But what about the CPU not picking up the Hub? That only happens went the Battries are getting flat? Might water or dumpness cuz this in the Hub too? Willehond = pansie.
  9. Hi fellow PowerTap Pansies. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I just want to clear something up. My PowerTap SL, the one with the Wires has been working very nice thru out the summer, now that it's starting to get colder I'm starting to have PROBLEMS with it. NO, it's not the batteries, I replaced the Hubs and CPU's last week. The problem is bizarre, the CPU Died and came on again resetting my data about 1h30 into my ride, I thought it might have been due to electrical interference but about another 1-2hours later the Hub started to lose it's signal to the Cpu recording no data, it would go off for minutes and then come on again for a few seconds recordeing data , this went on for about 20mins and then it stayed on for the reminder of the ride. This all happened while it was raining on and off, some hard showers ect. Now, it can't be the wires cuz they only pic up speed and cadence, the problem looks flat batteries but they are brand new, so I don't know, might it be the temperature or maybe water getting into the hub?? Any one else starting to experience problems?
  10. You got to much money you CLOWN~!
  11. Nice! good going ShortLegs!! who was the TCS pansie??
  12. I took 2week off. 1st week completly no training, then the 2nd week I did 1hour easy spinning every 2nd day. After than I started training as per usual but included a recovery week after 3 hard weeks were I do the same intensity but cut the workouts in half. So far so good.
