The Mtb race is not technical, got some short section of single track but mostly it's on wide open dirt roads. I have to add the views are really pretty Got some nice climbs in as well. Only done the 80km so far but might do the 50 this year and then the long borning road race just to keep my good roadie seeding..

OMW, that's sh*tty luck. Like the stats, always wondered what Mtb stats would look like. I always thought I ride harder during Mtb events but the EPIC is long stages so you have to kinda ride Tempo pace, is that what you did Bruce??

Did my First Argus and MW ( Trekker ) wa sin the same bunch. Some clown almost took out his front wheel and MW said kinda loud so the guy would also hear: Marius, daai ou ry seker vir TEMPAX want hy ry soos n P@@S. i ALMOST fell of my bike!!

I like the Pad Assos uses, I got no problem with it, it's the 2de best one I've used so far, it's the material they use I have a problem with, it's simply don't last. Ask Lilo as well, she's on her 3de pair already. She don't even train half the amount I do and hers also just lasted a year per pair.

pfft, what Quality, it's all hype, they even got you buying there Stupid A$$ cream and Washing Power, tsk tsk, they got you good. If it's so wonderfull why all the after market stuff?! I bought some R250 bibbs from CWC , well two pair now cuz they are way better than Assos. It was old stock and they newer ones are R600 I think, geat value for money and the best I've had so far. It's made in Italy, Brand name is www.raiko.de I've owned Cape Storm and First Ascent, both are crap imo. The Padding is to little same with Anatomic, no matter what class, from Silver to Gold. Had some Howzit's also and Vermarcs, nothing beats the Raiko make. Just got two pairs of Gore Bibbs, well picking them up this afternoon, got a good deal and needed some plain black ones thought I'll test them as well since the Raiko ones are branded.

It's a Mtb, go wild Borriz! It's suppose to be FUN so everything goes.

Mine also just lasted a year and a bit. Tried anothe rpair and same story. The fabric is not very strong, mine always start to "torring out" and becomes see-thru-e - not on, will never buy Assos again, a complete waste of money. shame man, can't be nice riding there, looks so borning and dull/. But it's getting cooler, mayeb they'll get some rain...and then all the loose sand will flow from the mountains over the road, now that'll make the first day exciting, ey?!!?
