Hi, Its deda elementi leather look tape. I was going to use the planet x one but I was too impatient so I went for the deda at my LBS in London. All I need is some mudguards and a rear rack, I plan on some touring in Europe in the spring and summer. I got the frame, fork, wheels, chainset and calipers off eBay. The King headset off gumtree. The rest was either new from planet x or stuff I stole from my SS dale.

Just completed this for the daily commute, Kona Sutra,2006, sliding dropouts .... so smooth... so smooth!

lol dudes, so its as I thought. I usually roll up the right leg, but sometimes I forget and then its too late .... My SS still has 3 chain rings so that's where the problem is :-)

Does any one know of something to stop long work pants from getting eaten by the large chain ring while commuting ?

This sounds totally awesome, I commute daily from Melville to Parktown North, bike lanes would make riding through the traffic much better! Would be great if Jozi can pull off a sustainable bike culture, not just on the weekend.

Hi all In the past two days I've spotted some rather un-athletic rather disadvantaged looking dudes riding some awesome bikes ie a Merida FS in Randbug CBD and GT hardtail with rockshox reba (or somthing RS)in Mellvile and another Merida HT in Randburg.I was driving with some one (as the passenger) so couldn't stop or interfere. I gather these dude bought the bikes from the gang who are buying them from the dudes who steal them and probably not the guys stealing them since it looked like they were commuting. So What to do when one see a bike that one it at least 80%~100% sure its a stolen bike? Any ideas? Peace
