Very cool. The bike was raced and professionally maintained for one season before it went to storage. Still perfect 12 years later.

That's the one. He sold it on to a mate of mine. He still has it. Can't remember exactly who's bike it was on the team.

I know of a factory stock 2001 GT DHi with those original brakes stored away in a safe place. It belonged to one of the GT factory team riders as a backup bike in the 2000 season. Unbelievable power.

Exactly where I am. If I don't go Hope Tech 3 V4 on the DH whip. Interesting enough Saint is R1950 per end compared to ZEE at R1750 per end. Hope V4 is R2310 per end. I will however spend the R1000 extra for the Hope of the ZEE.
