  1. Route details https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zOjNbJ-yZKVY.k3ywXWShXbD4
  2. Meet at 17:30 to start at 18:30 from 32 7th street in Linden. Ends at 20:30 Easy pace around the streets of Linden. No route details yet. Wear as much white as possible. The group will be lead by the ghost bike which will then be a permanent fixture at the shop to serve as a reminder of a fallen hero. See you all there.
  3. Instead of posting about how you own a gun and all that, why not just tell us exactly what happened and where it was. Raising awareness to hotspots like these will do a lot more to potentially catch the **** and will aid in rider safety. Insure your bike, don't risk your life.
  4. Keen to go yes. Ride from Linden?
  5. Gauteng needs Enduro races. Full stop. Bad timing for me. Cash and work.
  6. Speaking of mud. A big mistake many riders make is to ride around puddles instead of through them. Yes, your bike will get dirty with muddy water but the trail is actually less muddy in the water than around the edges. Not to mention it is a lot friendlier to the trail by doing this.
  7. Coffee, coffee everywhere...
  8. I would be too ashamed to where that enduro full face of theirs. Looks like they hacked a normal full face with a hole saw. No offence taken at all.
  9. I really hope Urge and others can come to the party with a proper full face for more extreme trail and enduro riding. Some of the sections on the local enduros can get stupid fast and an off anywhere on these section will lead to a bad injury. It just isn't always practical to ride with two lids. I love my Urge full face but it works best at speed. Like OM says, the market is wide open for a light, well ventilated lid that doesn't look like ass.
  10. You are a legend sir! Thank you!
  11. I shudder to thinks what they do with a 20mm thru axle. Filing is the lazy fix. To move a dish 6mm is a fairly quick job.
  12. Spank or WTB on Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs
  13. Will happily help when I get back to JHB.
  14. Hit 20000m of descending in 2 weeks Ride a couple of enduros Shred hard on the Spruit
  15. Agreed. Sag is just a recommendation. Go for a ride with varied terrain and take a shock pump with. Ride and tune until you find the perfect balance. A shock should use about 95 to 100% of its stroke at least once or twice on a ride.
  16. I can't comment on the functionality of the brakes or how they do or don't overheat. Never used them. I'm a Hope man
  17. Irrelevant. Sponsorships dictate components to a great extent and they have 24/7 mechanics to keep everything running smooth.
  18. Care to flog the flow rims on their own?
  19. All good man. Dial'd is brilliant
  20. Check out www.swindle.co.za Brilliant service and super quick delivery.
  21. 160mm or 170mm?
  22. And raise it while riding past old people. It amazes them to no end.
  23. Sadly had to pull out a few days before the event due to unforeseen circumstances. Hope you all had fun!
  24. There is no wrong or right way to be honest. I drop my saddle whenever I get out of the saddle to ride a section. Even on some technical climbs it helps to not have the saddle to worry about. You are welcome to join us for a ride sometime. It helps to see when other riders lower the saddle and for what type of terrain. Welcome to the revolution!
