  5. The new price on an SL2 is about R 23k.
  6. Another rocket science filled statement So Harry1 now we know why you did not post a picture Jon0 and Harry1 go to school together.
  7. Mark ? thank you for your post which refutes the allegations made against Le Peleton. The photographic evidence also shows that the product did not fail due to inferior construction. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I think it is important to recognise that a Tarmac S Works is a high performance product that requires the respect care. Such products, due to the nature of high performance products, will furthermore have a more limited lifespan, which will be compromised by incorrect care. And yes, I recently bought a Specialised frameset and am therefore comforted by your post.
  8. Shimano does not make an 11T sprocket for the Sora 8 speed but they do for the 9 speed Sora. If you have a 9 speed Sora then you can also use any of the 9 speed Shimano 11T sprockets.
  9. If the topics bother you so much then just don't open them. These photos are good and nathrix is entitled to post them without interference.
  10. Maybe an idea to speak to someone who has organised an event in Durban before.
  11. I think you may have problems using a public road for an organised event unless you get permission. However if its done properly there's a whole bunch of guys who would race.

  14. Imagine where F1 fits into the graph?
  15. Dude - if that's your dilemma then get the wheels. If you want the power meter then you got be be able to afford both.
  16. This post hits the nail on the head. Like any tool' date=' a power meter (Polar, PowerTap, SRM etc) needs to be used correctly or else it is a waste and you can go with Spidey's recomendation. In order to use it correctly you have to learn how to do that or else you need someone to tell you how to do it. [/quote'] your bicycle is also a tool...if you use it correctly them you will reap the benefits...I know of a lot of cyclist who does not use a powertap they will put away most of the powertap users away on a Sunday coffee ride. Powertap = over rated!! Sure there are many cyclists who do not use such a tool and kick the crap out of many of those that do but maybe those they could kick even harder? Oh - a bicycle is not a tool. If you don't have a bicycle then you wouldn't be cycling - not the same as the powermeter discussion
  17. I also think it does not matter which position you are racing for, its a matter of optimising your training to be the best that you can be. If you can afford to use and expensive tool then go for it irrespective of your place in the race.
