  1. What do you think BB, time for popcorn?
  2. Mand's, not to sure if I will make it on Sunday. There is just so much stuff to do at home after the Argus . If I don't make it, have a great ride.
  3. I don't think he cares' date=' he is too busy serenading Barack and Michelle in the whitehouse. [/quote'] Love your work, Dude markStockton2009-02-26 00:57:01
  4. I don't want to be funny, but take it to your LBS and have them strip it out and send it to Cape Cycles. I was with out my bike for about 2 weeks (partially because of a courier strike) and my shock needed a major overhaul. All the roller bearings where replaced. It cost just less than R1K. But the results where well worth it. The difference is chalk and cheese. In fact I'm no longer looking for a Fox F100 or SID to upgrade the bike.
  5. how's the pizza? Ran out of time so got mc donalds (big mac meal with a choc milkshake) I've just returned from my weekly "project meeting" in the DC, as always we had Wackies from Steers.
  6. how's the pizza?
  7. I was going to suggest Imodium, but I'm not to sure that is the answer youre looking for.
  8. I really don't understand why this is an issue. Both parties move off the trail to their respective left hand sides, the smile and greet one another and continue on their respective ways. No need to slow down, stop or be inconvenienced. No problem.
  9. Shaun, I changed the title so that the one law abiding taxi driver out there (somewhere) doesn't feel unfairly victumised.
  10. I agree with JL and Droo, there is no will to do anything, and it certainly can be done, the guy's in the Nyala's wouldn't take any cr@p when responding to a taxi blockade. A bonus would be that the motorists who have followed the taxis example, would rethink their behavior as well.
  11. Now that I've calmed down a little and am starting to have the occasional rational thought, I'm thinking along the lines of raising sufficient funds to bring a case against the MEC for law and order as well as the MEC for transport and the taxi associations for "criminal negligence". Any lawyers out there got ideas?
  12. Well done Mark. Kick cancers butt. Thanks HR for bringing some balance (and good news) to the day.
  13. The incident where young Bernadine was killed yesterday by a taxi driver who hooted at her and then deliberately drove into her just highlights how lawless this sector of the population have become. They have absolutely no regard for the law or the lives and safety of others, furthermore Metro and the SAPS are plainly NOT doing anything about it. In the area where I live with a number of schools nearby, taxi's regularly drive on the wrong side of the road or even on the pavement. If we don't do something, this situation will just get worse and worse. Please post your ideas here. For some inspiration read this thread on Think Bike http://www.tbforum.co.za/forum/showthread.php?p=349798&posted=1#post349798 markStockton2009-02-24 04:34:55
  14. Agreed
  15. I saw quite a few people tossing empty gel wrappers down, but didn't have the presence of mind to commit their numbers to memory.

  17. Thanks to Google I can report that she is the GM of CSA. http://cms.cyclingsa.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=238 Now the question is, what was she suspended for and does it have anything to do with Gail from CGC?
