If anyone did that Parys 24 hour thing last year, you'll know that those bright shiny yellow (fold into their own pocket) apple dry mac jacket things.....don't work for s#1t at 3am in torrential thunder storms.... I felt & looked like Spongebob!!!!!

Apart from raising the bb by 7mm, I don't quite know what difference the 0.5 degrees in the head tube makes?? I've had mine on the high setting all the time, & also running the stem at a positive angle. Some guys have their stems running down but they look like they riding a superbike..??

My Wifie is also pretty cool with me riding, knows Wed night rides are forged in stone. Encourages me to go to races. Tells me to go ride when I've had a k@k day, generally cool on all levels. She does have a knack of phoning me mid race though & asking how far I am...when i say 30 k's to go then she tunes me " but you've been racing for 3 hours already!!!"...I always reply with " Nope I've been loosing for 3 hours already" What I did was buy her a nice bike..took her to a trail & upped the pace a bit..after 10 min, she realised this was a k@k idea & no-one in their right minds would do this for fun....so now in her eyes, I'm not having a joll with my mates I'm out there suffering.. No more problems!!
