    WOW, that is a good deal, generally speaking Trek bikes have a very good back-up here.

    Have you tried to wet the belt where it is in contact with your skin and try to turn the battery around for 10 seconds, then put it in the correct way.

    That is going to be pricey, I ma sure you can have it spark eroded or wire cut for such a part you are going to use once.

    i AM NOT SURE IF A 3D printed one will be strong enough, there was a company in Cape town that did the Silent conversion kits and they basically had a square hardened plate to remove that ring.

    That servo wave thing makes a difference but you can try other brake pads as well.

    Nothing wrong with the 530, my wife got my old one, when I got the 540.

    Not sure about the 530 but my 540 got the upgrade yesterday.

    MY profile says I am a member for 13 years, it is a nice platform, kind of addicted to popping in the bikehub in the mornings before I get going at work,to see what is for sale and read some of the interesting threads, Some nice threads like, "I need something you might throw away" where the community help each other, I ended up building a bike for a security guard after his got stolen from donated parts.

    Going to do a cruise this year on my Gravel/hybrid bike - aiming to do a solid 6 hours.

    The "newer" Look cleats are cheap as chips if you go Ryder, I think I last paid R199 for a set at CL. Even Asioma pedals use Look cleats.

    Looking at this thread, I am inspired enough to go ahead with my drop bar conversion on my Straight bar gravel.

    I know one user on bikehub replaced the battery on a Garmin edge 130 with some success.

    I got a FR965 with the Amoled screen and feature wise its very nice(overkill for me) bit diapointed in the battery life.

    I just could not get it to work, I suppose if you have better rims they might work but on my Scott rims and Maxxis Tires I battled.
