  1. I am keen but when I do a 7pm race I battle to sleep afterwards.
  2. Titan Cypher is also a good buy, Silverback Stratos is a nice bike, with lots of potential, second hand you might get a deal within your price range.
  3. I must agree with you, the amount of info these gadgets give is just mind boggling, in Feb I purchased a FR965 and its overwhelming with all the information (Do I really need all that? I know not on the level that I am, I don't) Now my watch tells me when I had a bad night's rest when I wake-up like a bear with a sore tooth.
  4. a while back a friend had a problem with a Kickr, the wire that goes into the mail board was damaged, he just resoldered the wire onto the board, and it worked well after that. worth a shot if you are willing to open the side.
  5. I must be honest, I will keep on trying to sell here, I have sold some items on facebook but lately you get 100 messages from really questionable people, then I just ignore, so I stopped with Facebook market place.
  6. options to purchase some "fancy" bearings. and even some tools(even Temu tools)
  7. Just be sure to use the courier option, do not use the free-shipping option, then it come in via our post office and takes forever to reach you.
  8. My Scott Genius 950, I do not have any picutres of it but it is the bike I had the most fun on and it was my first brand new Dual Suspension. Found a pic
  9. I am with Outsurance, never had an issue with claims,
  10. you are not alone, have not entered any events, so motivation is all time low.
  11. Typical Bikehub, a question about Quality of handlebars turned into a discussion (Science lesson) on Aerodynamics. 😎
  12. I had this printed through this man, I am very impressed, this will make a unique gift for someone,
  13. I have a set somewhere but not shin pads more like a knee pad - Dm me then we can arrange.
  14. Will send you a DM
  15. The conversion to 1x11 is super easy and not that expensive with Bikehub parts. It even looks like your current derailer have a clutch but not 100% clear. I had a Scott Genius, sold it and put some moola in the kitty to get a Trek Top Fuel 7, I can tell you, I miss the Scott (and the cash I laid out on the new bike)
  16. He has some nice videao on Insta, his face looks super lean.
  17. Here a thread about an insanely strong South African cyclist changes into a debate over KJ, Cal, conversion factors and such, got to love the BH scientists - My head hurts just thinking about this.
  18. I got myself the Top fuel 7, I only upgraded the brakes to 4 piston Deore version, otherwise the XR4 tires it comes with is pretty aggressive for the riding I do, I changed to Recon Front and Icon Rear, very capable bike. I must add the old Scott Genius I had was almost a kilo lighter, but I enjoy the Trek.
  19. I must be honest, I almost got caught in this weight thing, My current bike weight is 15.5kg(trek Top fuel 7 - with pedals and some spares in the frame) so off I went to cycle lab, saw Scott Spark for around R70k without pedals and bottle cages was like 13.8kg, add pedals around 350grams, pushes the bike into the 14kg, I could not justify spending R40-45k after trading my current bike in for just over a kilo of weight. I will just enjoy this bike for its capabilities and suffer on the climbs.
  20. One thing I would like to add, this year's t-shirt is a bit bland, my 2022 shirt is MUCH better but it's not the reason we do these.
  21. I know, Trek(Bycycle line) has a sale on the 1ste gen, Super calibers, still quite steep.
  22. Have you Tried Rapide, if he has stock, you will have it in the morning.
  23. How many kidneys will this group-set be?
  24. MywhooshGO does not have any "spectators" jumping around and rendering of graphics happen as you go, if you don't mind this, it works well.
