But have recently been riding in the rain to work so I might need to replace it sooner than expected which is okay as I would rather do that than replace my cassette and chainrings.

I replace my chain when it is half worn. Do roughly 8 months max on a chain - 8000 km's. But it all depends on how you shift, clean chain etc. I get the cheapest ten speed chain possible. Shimano 105 works for me even though everything else is force.

I am already in a team whereby my entry is paid for as well as support vehicle etc. But I know of many teams whereby the accommodation is also paid for. I am sure you could email a few university clubs and ask whether they have any spare riders. What's your planned finishing time?

Might be a tad difficult. Why not give it away for free? Most riders teams get sponsors.

Just wondering as most people have a longer lower body than upper (well that's how I see it).

So in the perfect world should your top half be the same length as your bottom half?

Thanks TubeHunter for finding me. I went to Mc Donalds but there were loads of cars there. I finally got to meet Disylizzy and Frail. Was a bit windy last night but great fun was had. And the Southern Suburbs crew who cycled in had fun at the end when we all got mechanicals at the same time. Nothing like a bit of bonding.

I can even pull my bibs up a bit and make my costume really scary.

Ok, I will be the guy on the blue alpina which the huge rear flashing lights. Will wait at the MCD's side of the circle.

Getting excited for the first time I do it next weekend. .

Was a SWT rider. Tube: It was a car.

She says it was bad. He was flung into the air. Happened at an intersection.

Another cyclist knocked down on Saturday the 27th October around 8:45am in Lakeside. My friend saw it happen. She offered him a lift but he was "fine", another cyclist cycled with him home (around the corner). Hope he is okay. Not sure who was at fault...

Well I meet a group at the Baxter theatre. We leave at 8pm sharp.

Hi Bronwyn, GA bus A4371 at 08h35. Place: Circle between Sawkins RD and Campground RD, next to the Ronderbosch Common. He is heading towards Raapenburg road. Driver mounts the pavement and drives in the bicycle lane while navigating the circle. Everyday occurrence. He should rather take Park road and turn into Milner road whereby he won’t be putting other people’s lives at risk; I don’t want to see another person killed because of driver being careless. I would appreciate your response and an indication of how this will be solved including a time frame. Kind regards, Stephen
