  1. I was in the events industry, very lucky I sold my business the week before the big c hit. Would have been battling otherwise. I think we sadly all have to try adapt the best we can.
  2. Not even.
  3. Some solar for you from sunny Ireland. Feedback into the grid so no battery's for now.
  4. Same product but cheaper: https://m.takealot.com/logitech-bluetooth-audio-receiver/PLID34199478
  5. Yes you get them. I think incredible connection should have them. Or any hifi store.
  6. Haha. Probably. Really enjoying it. Better coffee than some coffee shops. Worked out it will pay itself off in 3-4 months.
  7. Our new coffee machine. Really enjoying it.
  8. Very sad for them, I hope these buggers get caught.
  9. Clearly amateurs.
  10. My running problem is that I can't run around where we live. Currently too much ice on the roads in the morning. Very slippery. Need to try running during my lunch break or straight after work.
  11. Don't cycle alone anywhere.
  12. That's not good. It's terrible how all these jackings are happening so often.
  13. Seems a bit weird. They not going to make much money from a bike that’s trashed? Doesn’t seem to be a very clever modus.
  14. Brendan. Praying you okay. Eish. Not good news.
  15. @ Pure Savage, Have a look at the pine shop next to spar rosmead avenue. Very good prices. Might be cheaper to buy vs make it up.
  16. I started the couch to 10km in June 2018. Did the two oceans half in 2019. Had never done more than 10kms until I did the oceans. Longest run so far has been 40 km's split over two days and that's where my itb issues started, longest run before that was always around 21kms and then rest day afterwards. It is very frustrating only upping milage slowly. On the day you might feel fine but part all the issues appear. Cycling you can be unfit go and do the Argus and heal quickly.
  17. Battling with my ITB right now. Never focused on my core strength before the ITB issues arose.
  18. Personally I think they awesome. Dad has one and he would normally not get out and ride as much. If you can cover more distance with one then why not.
  19. Would completly agree. Also find that a short run was equal to a long ride for me. So less time consuming. Also bit safer as you can run on pavements.
  20. Speaking from experience, I tried to save a buck and do it myself. Honestly not worth it. Get a couple of quotes and pay for a professional site that works on a PC, Tablet and Phone. Wordpress you can update some simple stuff afterwards like blogs etc but doing the whole layout yourself is very time consuming.
  21. Amazing. "The elevation is one of the most notable challenges of the race. The total elevation gain (18,288 metres) if you complete all five loops is the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest twice."
  22. I normally do it till 3 cause I want a bit more. Level 1 will give you hardly any water as the grounds take up space. Inverted method I fill it right up for tw cups or half for one cup. In the end you'll see what suites you. A true espresso is so small, one sip and its done.
  23. 1 scoop is a double shot so I use 2 scoops if making two cups.
  24. https://capecoffeebeans.co.za/products/urnex-dezcal-descaling-powder?_pos=1&_sid=e3dabc934&_ss=r
  25. Cape coffee beans sell the descaling powder 1kg tubs. Far cheaper in the long run.
