  1. Lets go back a few years, these are the sort of articles that were written http://www.guardian....cyclingholidays Headline: Workmanlike, wheel-sucking Evans ready to go one better in race against the clock There are a lot more similar articles from the past. Even today on Eurosport, after the finish in the studio, were talking about how Evans wheel sucks, but he has improved and a big change to that was his world championship win. The interesting thing this year is he doesn't have a clearcut strength in the TT over the other GC contenders so will have to attack, Wiggins can afford to just follow Evans around.
  2. I wasn't on these boards when Big George sucked wheels all day in the high mountains in 2005 to win from Óscar Pereiro on stage 15 at Pla d'Adet but that was wheel sucking of the highest degree. What Sagan did was nothing by comparison. You guys must have been all over Big George for ages for that.
  3. Thank goodness for that as from your inane posts/questions/opinions it appears that you clearly can't afford the best at normal retail price.

  5. 22 years beyond his use by date. Both him and Liggitt need to move on.
  6. Oh dear, 1953 photos from le Tour: http://timelifeblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/23_112451905.jpg?w=321 Check what's hanging off the back of the leather saddle...
  7. You're losing this one Kranswurm. He's dragging you down to his level and beating you with his experience of operating at that level. The answers were given on page 1, since then it's been padding. Like is a cell. Tools no tools, bag no bag, cameltoe no cameltoe, water bottle no water bottle, pocket no pocket. Who really cares? edit loosing only has one o.
  8. Ah, the Johnny come latelies to the TDF. How many years have you watched Evans attack the race? From your comments I'd say never. As if you say you have seen him attack the race you would not have been watching the tour. As he has never previously attacked the race like Mercx, Pantani or Armstrong did. Or even Le Mond or Roche. This year is the 99th edition, it didn't start last year. Evans has ridden the Tour 7 times, the 1st time he felt wind in his face for any prolonged period of time was last year. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 he marked the GC contenders almost to death. In 2007 and 2008 he followed wheels every time an attack came. Reputations in pro cycling are earned, he has chased 1 attack by himself in 7 tours de France. Oh, and a few sneaky little 500m sprints to claim a few seconds.
  9. Might be more to Horner's inclusion than meets the eye...
  10. What are the boards going to say when the King of the WheelSuckers, Cadel Evans gets some sucking action going later in the tour?
  11. Sagan favourite for White says GrumpyOldGuy Ja, maybe the Sprinters White jersey. Exactly how much time did he gain on the top 5 white jersey contenders yesterday? Yeah thought so. But Tejay and Taaramae have no issue staying with him when he wins....
  12. Or Olympic Cycles 450 m up the road from Crown
  13. Check how hard Spartacus worked, sorry can't embed from this video site http://bcove.me/15tewrlx
  14. Dangle Spartacus IS GREAT, I think too much is being made of Sagan sucking his wheel for his debut win in his debut stage in his debut tour. Spartacus will do that again and again, he is so strong when he jumps but he will rarely win if someone goes with him.
  15. Fabian must be seriously thick. He breaks, guys go with him, he waves his arms about for them to do their turn, they laugh at him, he carries on pulling them, they jump him for the win. Being doing this for a while. But he does get the "I'm the strongest man in the peloton" award. From himself! At the tender age of 22 Sagan was the master of the day.
  16. Sorry Clint, I don't run a cycle business. But I do run a business in an unrelated field. And we do deliver to our customers so I do know a little about the options for delivery. So get you facts straight. Are you not shopping online because you want a better price? Make up your mind about your motives. Price or service? Hard to get both consistently without margin. And yes, I do think it's good business to offer different delivery options from expensive overnight to free collect at your post office or post net in 4 or 5 days. Out of interest I think you'll find PostNet and SpeedPost offer some of the most expensive small package overnight or 2 days services in SA. But then I can't tell you anything as you know it all already. Which is why you post a question about using a saddle bag.
  17. We had a mate who rode with us who fitted one of those "I'm such a wanker, I need a Hope to f*ck up everyone else's ride with noise". He now rides alone.
  18. Maybe that's because he is not in the open plan office but in the open country side?
  19. Yellow helmets is a new thing this year. The team of the GC winner wears yellow helmets the whole tour. Actually it's for the team leading the team competition, yellow numbers and yellow helmets.
  20. Sagan has been rewarded by his team with a customised bike for tomorrow http://static.ow.ly/photos/normal/JM8K.jpg
  21. http://static.ow.ly/photos/normal/JM8K.jpg Peter Sagan shows Spartacus his teeth
  22. Go for it. Find a courier that that will pick up at a business in Cape Town or Durban and deliver overnight before 10am or even 3pm to Johannesburg or PE or Pretoria for R80. Door to Door, not drop off and collect other end. And then tell us.
  23. Just use online streaming from www.supersport.co.za It'll only use about 350MB per hour. Or check my signature for others
  24. We don't have to wait long. Around 5 tomorrow arvo will tell us.
  25. He didn't want to help. He sat there and said NO, I'm going to win this, you're in front, stay there. Smart.
