  1. Nothing wrong with that, why else watch racing? Or your thread!
  2. As it how many years? With ability to finish on the uphills and compete the flats the Green is his to lose. Eric Zabel's record is in jeopardy.
  3. Why? Burry could be great on the road, he's pretty amazing at all the disciplines he competes in in MTB. The money and glory is on the road.
  4. Stefano Zanatta asks the Liquigas Cannondale Team what they want to do on the rest day. Sagan asks what the last 4 days have been.
  5. Brought tears to my eyes, or in hub speak: beer, keyboard. "If this concept should work efficiently, we're talking butt-plug fartpipes, an exhaust system with a replaceable filter" edit added quote
  6. I've never seen a cross country skier dance in a sprint finish in a Grand Tour before. Maybe he'll pop the wheelie next.
  7. No wheel sucking there. Amazing by Sagan.
  8. Well, lets look at Grand Tour wins, puts some perspective into the question: And the World Champions in road race - multiple winners only Cipollini did win the world championship once. edit: table did not work so posted pictures
  9. Looks like Sitsov has an ankle issue from a fall. Fell hard. Abandoned. 1st of 2012
  10. How many points has Tony Martin's flat cost me and the other teamsters....then he crashes and gets back on his bike so we can't even substitute him. This is the time I say thank goodness it's a 3 week Grand Tour!
  11. Really useless bike rider this guy Cav: Key results 1st World Road Championships 2011 1st World Track Championships, Madison 2005, 2008 1st Points competition, Tour de France 2011 20 stage wins, Tour de France 2008-11 9 stage wins, Giro d’Italia, 2008-11 1st Points competition, Vuelta a España 2010 4 stages wins, Vuelta a España 2010 1st Milan-San Remo 2009 1st Scheleprijs 2007, 2008, 2011 2nd Points competition, Tour de France 2009, 2010
  12. Warning accepted. Balancing some of the ignorant comments about how k@k a sprinter Cav is. The required number count is not a published number and is relatively high therefore very risky and means the teams need to co-operate to swell the numbers. With no guarantee of be excused. More likely a couple of experienced races are sent back to pace the entire group to just make it. Generally a third would be excused and allowed to continue.
  13. Specially Cuddles
  14. Although Brailsford is his boss he is 100% accurate in this article. Cav is so good he's a freak. Brailsford: Cavendish has shown he’s the world's best sprinter Eisel and Cancellara also full of praise for the Manxman There were smiles all around as Team Sky's riders made their way back to the team bus to go through their "warming down" routine in the wake of Mark Cavendish's stage victory in Tournai. Beaming team boss Dave Brailsford marvelled at his sprinter's superlative skill, saying that Cavendish had proved he was the world's best sprinter having triumphed against the odds. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/brailsford-cavendish-has-shown-hes-the-worlds-best-sprinter
  15. Problem with a saddle bag is you can't carry water in it.
  16. Please watch this to get a better idea of how much pain he was in (apologies for not embedding it) http://bcove.me/15tewrlx
  17. Day 4 Stage 3 Very hilly at the end, 4 hills in succession Heading towards the Channel with head winds? Nice painful climbs at the finish In all, short sharp climbs to blow the sprinters away, all short and sharp. Will all the GC boys stand the pace? Last climb into Boulogne-Sur-Mer quite brural after 200km
  18. Sagan’s Tourminator Origin Sagan’s nickname is “Terminator” but not for the reason you might think. Cannondale press liaison Rory Mason says the name comes from Sagan’s time racing mountain bikes, when he was famous for being hard on gear, “terminating” wheels, tires, and other parts. Sagan kept asking for a special bike and made a bet: win a fifth stage at the Tour of California and he’d have a bike for the Tour de France. http://www.bicycling.com/sites/default/files/images/IMG_3272.JPG
  19. So Kris Boeckmans (Vacansoleil-DCM) becomes the first car sucker? And D.S. Hilaire Van de Schueren becomes the 1st DS in a car to be sucked? And no Schleck nor Horner in sight.
  20. Jury decisions D.S. Herman Frison (Lotto), Christian Guiberteau (Argos-Shimano) and riders Jelle Vanendert (Lotto), Johannes Frohlinger (Argos) all fined 50CHF for taking a feed and comportement that was bad for the image of cycling. Art. 12.1.040.37bis Michael Rogers (Team Sky), fined 50CHF for following a team car too closely. Kris Boeckmans (Vacansoleil-DCM), fined 50CHF and penalized 20 seconds for following too long behind a team car; D.S. Hilaire Van de Schueren (Vacansoleil) fined 200CHF for above offense.
  21. Very little bit...
  22. See the video? posted earlier only the front, posted in your thead
  23. So my offer of free stuff failed. Bugger. What else can we do to rid ourselves of this guy's drivel?
  24. For a guy who doesn't care what he looks like or what he uses who wants it for free you are pretty fussy. I'll send you the stuff I bought when I did my first Epic. But the deal is you stop asking so many stupid questions and stop being so impolite to guys who try help you.
  25. Fark me. 13 pages on a saddle bag. Can I send you a saddle bag, a camel back, a tool bottle and a cycling shirt with 3 pockets at the back? Please. Just stop!!!
