  1. And he's an authority on ethics in life? No self interest there at all after spending more than a decade telling us how great the Texan is and how he's not a doper? Egg on face if this is proved to be a lie. Same problem that Phil Liggett is going to have.
  2. Juslaaik, who rides in those circumstances conditions?
  3. What about the no sniffing rule? After you've applied said cream.
  4. Too funny. And knot even started by a troll.
  5. Yeah Akon as sooner or later the truth will out. Is it like Zuma and the corruption charges he faced, easier to get the charges suppressed than beat them? Fortunately the US Judge saw through the BS.
  6. Cav, surely you know by now Dangle only gives advice to guys who can benefit from his sage words? Just read the sock or tool forums!
  7. I think the Team Sky domination of the TT is a good thing for our enjoyment of the rest of the tour as any pretenders to yellow cannot now afford to follow. They are going to have to attack to get between 3 1/2 and 4 minutes on Wiggins and Froome to have a chance come the final TT. I'm afraid that I don't think Evans' little snide attacks over the top and on the descent are going to be enough. As good as Nibali is at going down, he'll have to go down very aggressively. Bring on the high hills!
  8. Squier, USADA don't have to overcome reasonable doubt. This is not a criminal case. Read the thread, the process has been discussed at length.....
  9. goya-goya it's not the media who are destroying the sport, it's the guys who cheat and lie about their cheating who are destroying the sport. If in fact it is being destroyed. Your comments here are pretty biased towards the cheating Texan and you appear to be pretty taken in by his money making schemes on the back of his cheating and lying.
  10. Get over it guys. Froome is not going anywhere in a hurry. Particularly not anywhere near that scum JB. Edit: RSN scum manager added.
  11. Ridden the Red Route a few times over the last week. Absolutely stunning with nice variation and a mix of everything one could want in a 24 km ride. Just one thing, the single track in some sections is littered with exposed roots which are very wet and slippery. In my view these slippery roots detract from the flow and therefore the enjoyment of the otherwise great track. Has the Sani2C spoiled us by being root free? What are your views on too much root on your route?
  12. That's an insightful comment there Punch. Would never have thought that had I not been told.
  13. Froome is on a massive contract at Sky and will be there for many years. All Brailsford needs to say to anyone wanting to leave Sky: RSN. That's enough to destroy anyone with potential. So Twiggo is at the top of his game and now he's arrogant? Why, because he's in yellow and your bloke isn't?
  14. I suspect today will be about a breakaway being allowed to go. Euskatel perhaps. Or maybe Astana.
  15. Or even "Good bye"? Edit: not sure how this got on this thread. It was meant to be on the "Good by" Robbie Hunter thread.
  16. Today's finish The climb is only 5.9km long but at 8.5% it will hurt, especially since it contains many steep ramps along the way. The ever-changing gradient suits punchy riders capable of changing pace. The finish sees the road get progressively steeper, culminating in final 300 metres where the road bends round to the line at 14% and a section at 20% to the line.
  17. Harkerville done Lunch done Tour doing
  18. Another quick day then the hills. It gets interesting at last? Too early I think, IMHO we'll see lots of man marking and following but no attacks from the top 5. Maybe next Thursday? I hope I'm wrong. Edit fixed format
  19. Try run it in full screen by clicking on the full screen button in the player, not the browser full window. Or click on the little and I mean little x close box in black and white that appears somewhere in the picture.
  20. I was on my my to Knysna and missed the day on EuroSport and ended up watching the StupidSport coverage after the event. Boy oh boy, they are worse than I remember them being.
  21. Interested to read your impressions after you've done a good ride, please post your thoughts.
  22. Says it all, really.
  23. I used to use the one they gave me at the Argus, then I found the cameltoe one. Never gone back. And only outrides of more than 90 minutes.
  24. And you spoil it by showing you are as far from being an expert as I am from being Peter Sagan. Go ride your bike, you clearly have nothing to contribute to the TDF thread.
  25. Phil is so past his best. The repetition in the commentary, not only on the day, but from year to year is just tedious. Paul and Phil just miss too much and their interpretation of so many events is just so wrong.
