  1. I think The Tour is over Grumps. They're all riding for second place. Only in the doping days would we have believed it if Berto and the rest suddenly recover to have a miraculous day.
  2. Faltering at the very first test after a few days warmup??? I reckon Froome is far superior. Not just Berto who "had a bad day". Can't see anyone coming back to challenge.
  3. "Impey! wo 'nans' Impey iyeza War! War is coming Obani bengathinta amabhubesi? Who can touch the Lions" Slightly bastardized but sounds about right for today's fixtures huh?
  4. Definitely one to remember. For a supposedly "routine stage" is one of the best I've ever seen. Probably made so much more interesting with our own in yellow, but great display by Cannondale. I'm not as much of a Sagan man as yourself, but I would've been very annoyed if the didn't get the win. (Or maybe I would've argued, Aaag that's sport :-)
  5. Chase over. Interesting game of chess today.
  6. How special a gesture is that! What a guy! "Simon gave up his opportunity to wear the yellow jersey for another day and to give it to me. That’s magical. I like to think that we are sharing it.” - Daryl Impey
  7. I'm starting to think he can keep yellow. The 2 Cat2's is in the mid 3rd of the stage. After that it's too small bumps with a 40km downhill into the finish. The sprint trains will help OGE to chase down a break. The GC guys have no reason to push things tomorrow, no seconds to gain. I'm betting OGE can help him keep it. If they go out controlling the pace up front for the first part, keep Daryl in touch over the cat 2' he can get back on over the last 70kms. Go Daryl!!!
  8. Love iittttttttttt
  9. Awesome Daryl. Do we think he will be able to get over those Cat 2 climbs early on tomorrow to stay in touch and keep yellow???????
  10. "He finished the race, but after the finish he was transported to the General Hospital of Bastia, where he passed a few examinations. The CT scan excluded fractures. However, he has a concussion and a contusion on his left lung. He also has soft tissue damages on his hip, chest, left knee and shoulder..." VeloUK on Tony Martin
  11. Pick that Bianchi up of the floor. Art is not to be treated in such ways...
  12. heheheheee! Havent heard that in ages.....
  13. That bus don't look very standard though. Reminds me off a time I designed a pick-up and drop-off at a hotel entrance. Spent so much time painstakingly working out the turning radii to ensure everything works only to get called back years later because the bus' wing mirrors clipped each other when going in opposite directions.
  14. Sky had at least two riders involved. Geraint Thomas had to be taken to hospital, and Ian Stannard was also involved.
  15. Everything looks to be ok, Contador later tweeted, "we think I've nothing broken, now a lot of ice and rest. French asphalt is very hard
  16. Alberto Contador also made contact with the pavement. “Alberto went to the ground and we still don't know about his precise condition,” said directeur sportif Fabrizio Guidi.

  18. "Tony Martin with a suspected fractured collarbone." CyclingNews :-( Not good
  19. Think he was (at the very least) held up as he came skittling in rather late in tow. Might have gone down more likely
  20. Imagine how long Cav's bottom lip is going to be this entire week...., Kiekiekieeee
  21. Every man and his domestique wants to be up there. Watch the **** hit the fan in the last 10
  22. Intermediate sprint the first bit of action apart from Froomies puncture
