  1. They can't be serious. Faaark steaks
  2. Hahaha! Nooooooo. There's plenty of that to come I'm sure.
  3. At least the hub will see some activity now. Most unproductive last 2 weeks of my life!
  4. Yeah, long forgotten. The only thing people remember now is that his the FATBOY's *iaaatch!!! But seriously, the lesson there is that he showed plenty promise early on in his career which went well and towards the end degenerated somewhat. On the other hand you had someone who was (no-one can deny) just consistent throughout.
  5. Friend of mine in Europe have an older version of the same thing. Very simple concept. Easy on easy off, works really well and stores using hardly any space. It gripped on the hitch really tight as well. I was very impressed.
  6. So those travelling to Argus come prepared.
  7. His going to get a lot of abuse for that. And plenty reminders of uselessness in front of Warne. There will only be one who comes out of this looking like a d**s.
  8. I'm in. Hope it's not windy
  9. Might sound dof but is that Cylelab?
  10. Improve my PPA Seeding. currently at "Q"
  11. I know this was a long time ago but do you still ride this route and how does it compare to the attached? Would the attached be safe for weekdays riding alone?
  12. Think I will be doing my first one in about 20 years. Road that is!
  13. Kallis, what can one say! Haven't seen visuals but read somewhere there is 90k Aussies packed into the MCC for a dead rubber ashes test. Them sheep shaggers just want to rub salt in the poms' wounds (not that we mind). But really 90k???? Quite special!!
  14. Do feel free to add your own. Pictorials would be nice!
  15. The LOWS (For some)
  16. The HIGHS!!!
  17. Who owns Cajees?
  18. So possibly no Giant in the peloton if Argos stays with Felt. I'm sure Giant can offer the team a better deal but the Felt at least looks better than the Giant Propel
  19. Did a test with Gary Beneke that time. He runs a small fitness studio in the south of Joburg. Most useful info there was actually my threshold numbers but highlighted the state of all my energy systems at that time. I think it helps with the extra awareness of your body and training. Was meant to do a re-test at the High Performance centre this year but didn't get to it. Apparently it's much better with them.
  20. This could be the only thread active during the holidays...
  21. This made me go and have a look. According to my Garmin report, I’ve spent a total 382 hours (and some change) training this year. That’s a total of 16 days. As a percentage, I’ve spent 4% of this year on my bike. About 40% of that was on the indoor trainer so at least I was at home for those hours. An average of 7 hours/night sleep works out to 30% and a 9 hour workday = 38%. That brings me to 72% (all of the above). The rest of the 28% must all have been spent between the missus, social, doing what you have to do, (getting ready for work, getting ready to train) etc etc. That ain’t to bad right.
  22. Eish. The difference a year makes. I’m now at that target of 68 but my training grinded to halt in November. Will be much the same December so possibly back at 74 in the new year. I will eat like a piglet come what may!
  23. Sorry about your loss buddie! Very powerfull message in that protest action! Well done!
