  1. He should be about ready to turn pro in twenty sixteen
  2. Also find I get insanely high speeds on my trainer but I only work to wattage. Between the IDT and road the numbers are the same. But resistance on the IDT/cadence has taught me to look at this closely in terms of what cadence/sweet spot gives the best output.
  3. Dinner. Carrot soup and seafood risotto with white wine and lemon juice. My black mussels was meant to finish of the colour but they wouldn't open. Dammit.
  4. Glad I discovered this. Saturday is our day for eating, drinking and some more eating and drinking. Not home made but some chirizo, salami, stuffed olives, beef biltong and gruyere cheese. The mom' raw chocolate shake. Coconut water, banana, raw cocoa mix, dark chocolate. Cheating her diet.

Only saw that Du Plessis/Weeks heavyweight bout today. Mr. Weeks has mean right hook. The doctor took them blows like a good girl which is par for the course these days to keep yourself out of trouble. Well done to him not swinging back. Not easy.
  6. I actually gained weight. 4kgs. Stupid project I was working on with insane programme had me so stressed, working flat out around the clock. When that finished my weight came back.
  7. Worked on a project that prevented me from any consistent training second half of last year. When that finished December 31st I got up to 3.4w/kg in the first quarter of 2015 including 2 colds, lots of travelling and racing/tapering with reasonable consistency. started the second quarter with a cold and tummy bug but have been putting in serious work around FTP and VO2 with very good consistency. Special circumstances on the home and work front allowing me time for endurance in the week right now so cashing in on the TSS. No racing till July. Need to test end of the month but can already put in more intervals at FTP then few weeks ago. Reduced intervals @ longer times next week to ensure adaption.

Just buy it after the WC when WC logo is gone and Absa logo is back. I still wouldn't buy it. Looks ***. Still wearing my Nike Castle Lager embroided wollen one. Good for winter. And on the plus I still fit into it. Well done to me. Haha
  9. Also aiming for 4.0 for the Jock from 3.0 start of this year. If I can get to 280 watts and lose these love handles/2kgs I'll be there.

    Where's the pic?
  13. Particularly where wind is in play.
  14. Will tell all at the end of this month with me next test. Some maachines in here. Anything above 4 I would be happy with.
  15. All this technological advancement and the sweat still ends up in your eyes. I have the previous Cav Edition Oakleys and it is the last time I ever bought anything Oakley.
  16. How are you getting on with this comeback2.0? What races you doing?

  19. The only offer "to good to refuse" should be a second fiddle role to Chris at Sky or #1 at somewhere like Lotto-Jumbo. And I think he can afford to be somewhat 'arrogant' about it at this stage. Another year at MTN won't be such a bad thing. The riders was always key with Douglas. He built the team gradually with the rider' natural progression. Louis body still needs to adapt and grow naturally.
  20. This is what I meant with "luck" staying with him. He needs to be in a setup like MTN where his ambitions are prioritised. Like having a team to protect him for 200km and deliver him to the final climb of a mountain top finish. Classic example would be Reinhardt. He was in amazing form when he went to Argos Shimano and I don't blame him for moving but that team had other ambitions that didn't focus on his development. Provided of course MTN keep securing entries to the big races, Louis needs to stay put and keep racing as a leader here rather than a domestique elsewhere.
