  1. A few primary schoolboys would look better. Boks were clueless.
  2. Same here. Only I have no idea where I'm at. I haven't been on the bike regularly since March (ToGH + Argus). Came back for one ride a month later. Crashed. Haven't been back since. And had my cycling/racing budget terminated by my "home executive". Although I can't wait to get my head down as I kinda feel I'm breaking it all down (letting go of the fitness and watts) and will build it all up again from scratch. That is what I hope will get me to above what I used to be. My highest numbers had actually plateaued so hoping the time off will be good. Good luck with that bucket next to the IDT.
  3. Still in 2 minds about going this year. Touch and go at the moment.
  4. Might need SAIDS to explain why his passport didn't show abnormalities earlier.
  5. Think I read somewhere that Oakley is the kit maker. haven't seen anything from them before.
  6. Sounds a cracker. Great to have such an event on our doorstep.
  7. I hope the Cav'enator finds his legs next season. The man has been on the downward trend. Equally hope DD can put together a strong train or Cav will only just make the news for tossing his toys....
  8. Think I might like the DD colours a bit more. Hope they ditch Castelli.
  9. What is the difference between Continental and Pro-Conti.....? Never mind
  10. And that's a wrap folks....
  11. Thanks for this. Are there any particular sections one has to look out for on the new route?
  12. They sucker palmed a pair of socks (and something else-forgot what it was) off on me when I entered. Just wondering if it's going to be black or white as I didn't get to select an option. Guess they will surprise me or I must've done something wrong Wonder if I shall use my heavier bike for this flat course? Any ideas?
  13. So the team colours and kit can change to green and white? I like the prospect.
  14. To enter or not to enter? Just can't decide. Maybe if I get to "4.3"
  15. Same here. Haven't decided if I must enter or not. Might do the last minute spur of the moment.
  16. Anything resembling a sub-3 means you're a racing snake. PERIOD. Anything over means you're a funrider. Kapeesh! That means less than 2.5% racers, a fraction of all them wannebees sporting lycra clad boeppies and expensive carbon machines pretending to the thrown of the "real racers"
  17. Yeah BAYBAYYYYYYY!!!!
  18. Any frame is at risk of cracking in that spot if the seatpost is not long enough. But with Giant' apparent weakness no doubt
  19. Prize money is not the only requirement to make a race. There's a start line, a finish line and a few testosterone fueled, lycra clad, carbon fibre sporting individuals some of whom are UCI license holding and not necessarily "index requirement" compliant who fully recognize it as "a good day out RACING their bikes". Haven't seen any rules stating Batch A - Z is for funriding with restricted speeds etc etc. Either way. Each to his own. Hopefully the furnriders end up further down the alphabet soup to keep things safe and everyone happy.
  20. Maybe someone need to define "funride" When did it stop being a race? All the Pro's are part if it racing for prize money.
  21. I get you but let's give it a year or so in use by the consumer. Not to say you or DCR is not trustworthy of course. I'm happy to be "proven wrong/totally bowled over" by this product. Just how I feel. And so you know. I once said I wont touch Vectors for a year or two after its release was delayed so many times. Against all this I stood in a shop one day and allowed myself to be talked into buying it only days after its release. Touch wood I haven't regretted that decision too often.
  22. Yes please. Who is this box?
  23. I like the way you put it. "A wobble" is not uncommon but I get the feeling the Boks can’t really afford to send an under strength team into any of the pool games. They need to build on continuity after the Pumas exposed them in Durban. Focus on combinations once HM decided what his best team is. That 36-0 routing of the Poms you mentioned above was the Boks’ best game that tournament. Similarly last time around the All Blacks played their game of the tournament against the Frogs in the pool stage. So seems to be a trend that teams play out of their souls in the pools but then finals rugby is just mentally so different. I reckon for where the Boks are currently at, they really need to build their combinations/confidence and aim to peak by the semis and carry that through to the final. But now all this talk is starting to wet my appetite for the WC. Something I haven’t had any mojo for as yet.
