Good luck to all tomorrow. Have fun! Be safe!
  11. I used to live in Dubai. Also found the hub while I was there. Became my main source of information and entertainment. Kept me fully in touch with the happenings in good ole Saaf Efrieke as well. The 80kay track through the desert is actually a tarred dedicated cycle track for roadies. If you in town go to Wolfis Bike Shop on Sh. Zayed Rd or further out is Revolution Cycles in Motor City(close to the autodrome where the roadies go on Wednesday's) owned by a Saffa (Stewart) and head mechanic Des (also Saffa). Im in talks now with a company that will hopefully have me based in Cape Town but with a few visits a year to Kuwait where they do most of their work. You know how they say, "once you get the sand in your shoes......."
  12. What are you doing there? Koe wait?? His working?

CL start for me. Putting in some hard yards this week so whatever happens, happens. :-)
  14. Oops. Apologies. Will remember the the name for next time. There was a lady from "percentage bunch" who must've had a mechanical and she was breathing sooooo hard on the climbs, but boy did the guys que for her wheel on the flats. Hahaha.
  15. Think I saw you but wasn't sure. Blue/yellow Ermelo (or something) kit??? Didn't get a chance to chat. Was only really at the climb before the descend into Hekpoort that we manage to split C and then after the long low grade climb we managed to stay away at the front. Picked up the scatterlings of A and B but not many wanting to work in the wind. Think some pretended (or maybe just didn't know) what a pace line is. There was one guy in black/white kit on a Giant with an orange visor/helmet combo who must get all the credit for the average time in C.
  16. Program haven't even started yet but judging from the tit bits they showing so far those "two" moes liewer still gebly het. Klink of hulle net hulle naam verder gat maak. Best keep quiet and thought a fool, then open your mouth and remove all doubt.
  17. Hahahaha. Yes I wondering if he might be on a downward trajectory if he got beat in a straight shootout. I think his got the commonwealth games or some big event coming up so not good for him if it's the case.
  18. I noticed that. Wonder what happened.
  19. Seems there is some discrepancies. Recorded me as starting a group down making my time 5 minutes faster.
  20. Super ride today. Wont call it a race down in CL but great fun. Indeed 114 is long.

CL for me. How do we recognize fellow hubbers???
  24. Sounds like this boy is doing well. Apparently started talking, using his phone and talk of him maybe getting sent home to recover this weekend. Bonitas update a week ago suggested a long rehab awaits him though. I think the two of them was so lucky. Getting hit from behind sometimes can result in very traumatic injuries. Someone upstairs was watching over them.
  25. This I mean
