  1. Pick me coach! Please ensure the goody bags contain weapons grade plutonium
  2. I believe that the bar light should be a flood and the helmet a spot...but I could be wrong
  3. Because it's a lucky packet. I'm not saying the Nissan bags are good, but I'm also not going to sit here and cry about it.
  4. Some good deals on lights on groupon today
  5. And please arrange a race with a goody bag containing all of the things you would like to see
  6. Here's some simplification. You pay x to enter a race. If you don't like it, there's plenty that will take your place. Make sure the door doesn't hit you on the way out. The goody bag is a bonus. This is the same conversation as the stage rave thread a while back. People just love whining.
  7. Or alternatively, if you feel the race isn't worth the money then don't enter. But don't expect the goody bag to contain a gold bar
  8. Short answer, yes. It's your bike and you can do what you want with it. That having been said, I wouldn't go more than 120, 140 is probably going to change the geometry substantially.
  9. I don't get this whole goody bag thing, did you enter to ride or to get stuff? Surely it'll be easier to go buy the stuff you want and ride your local trail than to enter a race and expect stuff for free.
  10. Usually people drop weight at an improved level of fitness #eksemaarnet ...
  11. Do you get tubeless slicks?
  12. Hey, I have some LX components in the shed
  13. Boys, it's called crossfit. Try this guy's approach: http://www.coachrut.blogspot.com/
  14. Fair price. Same goes for Morewoods, Ibis', etc. But it needs full XT (at least) and a good frame. Whether the frame is new or not is irrelevant, once you sell to someone else it's secondhand no matter the amount of k's
  15. The 2nd hand market for 26'ers is a joke unless you havea REALLY special bike. Offer him half and wait
  16. No bru. R25k for a secondhand bike with LX cranks, shifters and Juicy 5 brakes? R15k tops
  17. Power meters will make geeks out of the lot of us
  18. That's exactly where power to weight comes into play, acceleration and climbing. Downhills are for fat bastiches like me.
