I am looking for a bike rack which can take three bikes. The rack will be used on a FJ cruiser. I have googled for various bike racks and the guys in America has a few nice ones, but would like to source something locally. I saw there are ones which can mount on the sparewheel on the rear dood, but want to stay away from that option. I have looked at buzzrack etc, but not sure if they will fit or work. Anyone who knows if they will work/fit especially with the sparewheel standing out a bit further.

What year and model epic did you do the conversion on?

I seem to be unable to get my freewheel body of my hope pro2s.. Anyone with advise as to how I can remove them?

been doing a lot of races on a 26 er - only ratio i would advise is 42-28 with a 11-36 at the back. never had any gearing issues

what rimstrip/tape do you have on?

I am considering getting some q-rings for my mtb.. Anyone who has done the move over to q rings? I am currently riding on a sram 2x10 groupset - any difference in shifting performance etc? Any other feedback or issues to look out for?

Ok so my chain was up for replacement - reached the magical 0.75 mark. I did for some unknown reason had some "jumps/slips" on the last tow rides with the old chain. Replaced the chain and under quite some power the chain jumped on the 3 smallest gears on the casette. Went and bought a new casette, but compared each cog from the old and the new casette and the old one barely shows wear.. Anyone have an idea why i would have some chain jumping/skipping?

How far down the line are you with the fisio etc? Speak with your fisio first, but you should be ok by then

Had a look - still getting proper chain "engagement" and will take it to a shop to get their opinion - praying that it will only be a R35 fix instead of a few hundred

seems it is time to replace quite a bit of the drivetrain then...

replaced my chain and pulleywheels.. old chain started "skipping/jumping" on a few of the gears. So replaced it, now the new one jumps intermittendly if i put power on... did some barrel adjustment which help but not completely fixed.. time for a new cassette? Any other advise as to what the cause could be?

Felt also nice.. Silverback good value for money. Trek pricing also improved.. Best is try and ride a bit with each bike and see how they feel etc

I have had a op. Was unlucky to dislocate it again.. long story.. Short and sweet - go see a good sports doctor - and give it time to heal a bit, phisio and biokinetist... see what the sports doc says then decide. The best guy in SA for shoulders is Thys de Beer - but he is up in pretoria at the little company of mary hospital. Good luck with the shoulder - can pm me if you have more questions.. been there done that
