Initial response to an event we been looking forward to being cancelled easily one of frustration or disappointment. However , that’s decidedly the wrong response. We should actually be saying, great news, the sporting feds and governments are doing the right thing by cancellations and precautions. Likely every one of us at some point will be affected directly or indirectly by this thing. So, no whining from anyone about a canceled race , or event , or marathon , or meeting , or holiday, or Sunday Braai.

Aiden and Reeza both got hundreds today. Suddenly there seems a few solid options . Dean Elgar never going let us down either

Now that was cracker . Belted a full strength Aussie lineup properly. We’ve always had the skills . Just need to build it back up and become solid again. Onward and upward.

Usually quite pragmatic about sport. Can have a bad day and the margins for it are usually really small at this level, so the occasional slapping in a T20 game gonna happen. But not like that , not twice in 3 games.

As suggested by Shaper, try do some open water ,particularly surf swims if you can. Sea conditions here in Durban vary daily, and if the tide is pushing in on race day over the sandbank, can get bumpy on the way out. Trick is to stay calm and try not waste too much energy on getting out through the surf, just take it easy, and once through the break, then settle into your swimming rhthym. I’ve surfed and swum here for most of my life and still find it way harder than the pool. Hopefully race day will be perfect weather with easy surf and you’ll get treated to Durban’s finest

Wow , that’s sad. I really admired Nicole for what she did here , and really enjoyed the interactions and chats I gad with her . Very courageous lady. RIP Nicole.

Nice win for the Sharks . Been our best touring side for ages

Cooked the most beautiful steak last night . CW said there’s 2 pieces , just cook one and freeze the other. Nope , I’m gonna cook both , one for dinner and keep one for lunch tomorrow ( today). All good Ate the one while watching Sharks clobber the Bulls, then went to the kitchen to put the other piece away. Found an empty board where the meat was , and my beautiful brave disciplined German Shepherd sitting proudly next to the counter with the last bit of my steak in her mouth..... CW not so impressed

What does percentage clean have to do with it. Surely no sliding scale here. 100% clean means clean . 99% clean means unclean doesn’t it ?

Biggest names in racing and they never really seemed to give it a shot to catch in the last 10 clips . I know it’s hellava tactical and If they drag Kristof through its game over . I usually only watch PL games during the regular season, certainly never LaLiga games , so one actually forgets just how skillful some of the European based players are. Was watching Messi last night, and we all know how good he is , but some of his passing and ball skills around the box is just from another planet . A real treat.

Watched the live stream coverage from the start of the elite batch. Very impressive, and the visual coverage all the way through was brilliant. Odd audio hiccup in the background, and interview timing drags , but really enjoyed the whole thing. Well done to whoever put it together

I tried episode one, found it a bit edgy for me for the first 20 mins or so, sort of worked out it wasn’t quite going to normal like James Bond or MI. Tried got keep going , but soon as the butler appeared as a dog, or badger or something dressed in a tux , I knew I was gonzo out of there.
