Might have been a few grumpy white shirts in the stands . Love to know if that last goal was aimed at the top corner or not ? Yeah, nice win. Can’t not pick Vern if he’s properly fit. He’s proper world class and going to perform more often than not. Vern for Duanne is the right call for Newlands . Tough call after this game but the right one. Can’t leave out a batter with our guys scratching a bit for runs.

So my Durban Heat been getting smoked the whole MSL season. Cracker innings from AB last night to post plenty . In interview he reckons difficult pitch as halftime. So we bat, rubbish for 4 after a few overs on a difficult wicket. Decide not watching anymore, rather watch some Champions League and fall asleep. Thought I was seeing things when I read just now that we ended up 189/8 to win. Nice . Must have been quite a chase. I’ve enjoyed this MSL , been some good cricket

Had a few what felt like all South Africa hurling finals after a varsity party or 2 back in the day . Never had a crowd like that though . Sometimes just my mom with a cross face .And certainly never a marching band

Love your Sharks pic . Agree re Vern, but often his ripping the confidence out of batters at one end in a game like that allows the other bowlers to cash in on sticks. He’s a class act . Very happy that he’s playing for Durban Heat in the T20 league

I agree big time Shebeen. Was a really cracker Currie Cup season. Good rugby throughout. Finals often a different reflection of the buildup games.
