  6. If i am not mistaken, they moved at the end of last year. See thread below for details. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/110335-summit-cycles/page__hl__summit+cycles__fromsearch__1
  7. Case and point. They built up a new set for me in two days!
  8. Before the hub police get on my case about there already being treads about LBS services levels etc. I am aware of those threads but the service i have received recently deserves a thread of its own. While you may have read a few of my posts regarding the service of this particular bike store, the last two weeks of dealing with them have gone a long way in cementing my faith in the their service levels. I am yet to come across a store with the levels of honesty and integrity that Anton and Evo have shown me over the past few months but especially the last 2 weeks. They have assisted me in getting a complete new frame due to a crack that they found on my bike. They also fought for me with a supplier in order to get a warranty on a pair of carbon shoes that i bought that had developed a tear in the carbon. And now they are going out on a limb ordering a new bike in for me as we are unsure if i will have my warranty frame will be in time for Sani2c, But not only that they are trying to make sure that i have the new bike in time to ride the Honda Mountain trophy this weekend. I am not going to go into detail as to how they have helped me so much as i believe some people might take advantage of their good service level but suffice to say that i am pretty sure that most other stores would not do what they have done for me on the new bike. Anton and Evo, I just want to say thank you for the honesty, Integrity and level of service you have given me over the past few months. It has far surpassed any level of services i have received from any other bike store.
  9. I would think this is not out of the ordinary. If you think about it they make a profit out of selling you the parts and thus are able to sustain themselves. If for example you buy all your stuff online and ask them to fit it they would make nothing out of you although you would have cost them time by way of labour and wear and tear for tools etc.
  10. It is definatly on my bucket list. Just to say i have finished the Epic. I think for any mtb rider it is an accomplishment. And yes, i am one of those that will keep my sticker only bike. lol
  11. i have been wondering how most of the other teams do this. I have a female friend that i would like to ride a stage race with and i know for sure my wife wold not enjoy the thought of me sharing a tent with another woman. (PS note that wife does not ride)
  12. Iron do you seriously check the sealant every time?
  13. I also use a combination. Normally use squirt the night before. I f i can see it is going to be very muddy or wet i will run some Purple Extreme over, Wipe the excess off and No Issues! this is coming from a person who used to have issued with chain suck all the time. The trick with any dry/wax lube is to give it enough time to dry.
  14. Can you post a few pics?

It comes with a braket that basically creates another top tube for you. The seat then mounts onto that.

The Giant one that i have is too small for your boys. it is designed for smaller kids. I would say 2-4 years but if you want it still you are welcome.

No. it is a chair design for smaller kids and is fitted to a bracket that goes over your top tube so you kid rides between your legs. Its the only seat i know of where you can communicate with your kid. I stay in kyalami and often go for rides with my kid. I can judge how bad the terrain is by seeing how much he is bouncing around (and also slow down if need be.) and i can also talk to him while we ride. He often sits there pointing to the horses or another bike etc. Also if by any chance i should fall i can protect him.

do yourself a favour and get yourself a wee ride. I had the giant one that is at the back and both my son and i hated it. i got the wee ride and he loves it. i can also interact with him alot more.
