  1. Thanks 2-D but now i am annoyed. I was advised that the plate that you guys manufactured would not work on the G2 as it would sit skew and it was too heavy. I reluctantly went through the whole issue of getting Toyota involved stating that i could modify my exhaust. I also reluctantly modified the end of my exhaust which i did not really want to do only to find out now that the plate does fit! This is after discussing this issue with yourselves for over a month. If i am not mistaken you have a guy by the name of Robert there? Just to make sure i am fighting with the right place?
  2. I thought that plate was made only for the G3? I have been dealing with Woodmead for a little bit now while trying to make up my mind on what bike rack to go for. My options were either G2 (3 bike) or G3 (3 Bike). In the end i got it in writing from Toyota that putting a tail piece on that turns my exhaust down will not void my warranty and went with the G2.
  3. I personally dont see a problem with helping someone up a hill. Normally i am the one needing help but if i am feeling strong and see someone struggling i will give a helping hand.

I am scared to ask why?
  5. One can only hope that it will be effective and root out the cause rather than starting a number of wild goose chases because one rider has a vendetta against another rider..
  6. Interesting Article i just read on News 24 http://www.sport24.co.za/OtherSport/Cycling/Cyclists-to-get-doping-hotline-20121113 Lausanne - A doping hotline is to be set up for cyclists who want to blow the whistle on fellow riders, the International Cycling Union (UCI) said on Tuesday. "During the coming weeks... the UCI will be looking into establishing a new open line - a confidential ‘hotline'," said Pat McQuaid, head of the sport's world governing body in an online statement on the UCI website. Addressing riders directly, McQuaid said more needed to be done "to ensure that the UCI is as accessible as possible, and in particular to you the riders, should you wish to discuss issues or concerns relating to doping." It would take time to build trust in the telephone hotline, McQuaid said, adding that he was "confident that, with the best intentions from both sides, we can build that trust" and "accelerate the change in culture that we need in our sport." The move, also announced on cycling website cyclingnews.com, follows a turbulent ride for the sport's governing body in recent months over the Lance Armstrong scandal. Last month the UCI ratified the decision by the United States Anti-Doping Agency to strip the fallen cycling icon of his seven Tour de France titles and ban him from the sport for life. Also last month a Swiss court found dope-tarnished American cyclist Floyd Landis guilty of defaming the UCI. Landis had accused McQuaid and his predecessor Hein Verbruggen of concealing cases of doping and taking a bribe from Armstrong for doing so. In the UCI announcement McQuaid also rejected complaints by some riders that the governing body had not followed up their tip-offs. "I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that the UCI did act on information provided in the past and it will always do so in the future, within the bounds of what is legally feasible," McQuaid said.
  7. Last time I checked with them I was advised it would void my warranty. Will check again tomorrow.
  8. I find that Zambuk works a dream too. Seeing as we all seem so comfortable talking about our nether regions. I also experience a problem on longer rides. Bascially where the fold is where you leg meets your bum, i get something that only best be described as an blind pimple. Although it isnt a pimple. I swells up and is extremely sore. I used to think it was caused by the fabric of my bibs folding into the crease in that area. I had lost weight so i thought my shorts were just too big. I have gone down 2 sizes in bibs since then and still have the same problem. Any one else experience this and what did you do to solve it?
  9. Just be careful when purchasing. I had my Thule for about 4 years. When i bought myself a Fortuner the exhaust burnt the plastic bit on the rack that holds the front wheel. They now make a s/s plate to stop this but it only fits the "G6" which is R9000. I have Just ordered a G3 and will go to an engineering shop to have a plate made up to fit to deflect the exhaust gasses.

  17. I think its also a sign of dehydration at the end of a race but i think Dangle is referring the a guy having gosse-bumps before he has even started riding.
  18. Did you have an EPO spread on it with your peanut butter?
  19. Call me un-educated or naive when it comes to doping. Kinda blind hope that our athletes have the interest of the sport at heart instead of their own needs. The penny has dropped!
  20. Whoa i have even seen some masters whos skin looks like that at the start of a race! Holy Crap. The question you have to ask yourself is - Is it really worth it? That short moment of fame for a lifetime of shame!
