This just sucks balls. I was given a free entry by a mate who could no longer ride. All excited etc etc. and then i get a request from a client that we have to have meeting on the friday at 10 while i am supposed to be riding some awesome trails. Its sucks to have to put food on the table!!!
Hit the nail on the head!! One would have thought that if they had any interest in growing the sport and brining in new talent they would have learnt from that episode!
Its amazing how politics in sport can screw up our local talent. I am not detracting from the other riders that we have but Cherise can hold her own on most occasions and has proven her ability to do so.
PLease PLease PLease can you forward me some info on Bikejoring and if you know of any people in JHB that do it. I have sent mails etc to the Malamute Club of SA but do you think anyone has come back to me? I have two malamute that i think would kick ass at a sport like that.
Early morning rides i dont eat before and ride on only water. Trying to loose weight. Anything over 40km i ride with a energy drink and anything that i know is going to be intense i make sure i have some fuel in the tank.
Maybe look at a new LBS. i see you're in Alberton. Pity. I know of a good Spez dealer in the north. Sorted out all my warranties and they even make a pretty good cup of coffee!
I have had two bikes replaced now under warranty. First one was a crack in the frame. Second was a crack in the paint work. Specialized are not afraid to back their product!

This was not about who was a better coach. More about the promises made by one coach claiming to be able to guarantee podium results at quite a cost too i might add. He was then asked to prove his coaching method had substance by being challenged by another rider!
