You also may need to re-dish your wheel. I have a set of Traverse wheels that I wanted to use on my Epic but when fitting the wheel was off centre on the rear of the frame.

I had to decline but they totally understood. I made the mistake once before of having to deal with difficult step kids which was the cause of usreturning 2 years ago. The wife and I agreed that we would wait for them to finish school which is in 2 years time. Even if it was 1 year to go I would brave coming over myself and then returning for holidays etc.

Yeah I am replying to myself. They have put a number on the table now that is considerably more than what u was earning when I was there. If this was 1,5-2 years in the future I would be there in a heartbeat! The mind is in turmoil.

I asked the wife today what we would do differently. One thing was stay closer to friends. Socialise more with friends etc. One thing is for sure there is no way I am doing that commute over the NH bridge into the city. But the big thing is we said we would let my step daughters finish school first. That is still 2 years to go.............

There are certain things I do miss, but we have a good life here in SA bar the standard complaints about crime and the economy.

Had a old client pass a comment that he is waiting for me to come back. The mind is is turmoil at the moment!!!

Firstly rent is paid by the week. So some months you have 4 weeks and some months you have 5 weeks. Also depending on how your contract is drawn up, the landlord has the right to increase the rent after six months. We were paying NZ$ 1200 per week. (Yup thats right) I needed a 5 bedroom house which is quite hard to come by.

I find that after a hard Zwift workout my legs are on fire. So much so that I can't sleep.

My bikes were just cleaned and boxed. No steam cleaning.

Yip. When we went over we looked at what schools were thought would be suitable and then looked for houses in that area. My wife loved the Takapuna area when we were there. She worked in Takapuna and we lived in Mairangi bay. I unfortunately had the commute across the bridge into the CBD.

UNless your kids go to private school just remember that schools work on zones. If you fall outside of their zone it is more difficult to get your kids enrolled at that particular school. If that makes sense.
