So I went for my 1st ride with the new PM on thursday. Couldn't feel it was there, although it does look very different from the top when riding compared to a normal crank, Whereas with the powertap I knew it was there because of the weight distribution. The numbers were very similar to the powertap so no issues there. Also about 200g lighter which is cool. All in all, I'm happy to have it and to be able to use it in spring season for some data!

why not carbon?

So I was out at the 1km to go mark. Let me tell you, Burry and co looked completely miserable! There was a little dip under the road and up the other side, and the second Bulls rider was not enjoying it at all. Neither was Kevin Evans...

Most of them do the XCO series as well. Bulls only do marathons as far as I'm aware (domestic XCO's don't count) Merida have a team for each. Specialized do both. 360 life do marathons only, although there new team member, James Reid, does XCO primarily. With regards to budget... I have no clue.

Dude, if you're ordering from overseas there can't be time constraints. If you needed it so desperately, then you should've bought local. I honestly hope it gets here in time, but know you'll never order expecting it within a week.

That was also after a 9hr stage 1 after a broken derailleur... Respect to Evans and George for carrying on, I might have thrown in the towel.

Last year somebody I know DNF'ed, he could've finished easily. He had like 6 hours for 40km or something, just couldn't overcome the mental block. But that was day 7...

Mine has worked perfectly on GPS for nearly 2 years, only time it went wonky was when I had a magnet on the wheel...

Registration will be at Lourensford on the morning of the race, just phone to make sure they accepted your entry...

The riders can carry on riding, just won't get a finishers medal, and if they miss the next day/'s cutoff then. You're out!

Sorry for taking so long for my review, have been busy in training on the mtb for Lourensford on Sunday. Taking the road bike out for a spin before then for sure and will let you know how it goes

so, anybody know somebody who wants to do a 6-7hr time without riding?

Oh, that's not my bike, just the ones of mtber. Will post pics of mine when and if I do the conversion, 6 weeks min waiting time for the crests
