  7. Yip, the person who bought my bike for R5k on the street innocence- what a joke and nogal a cyclist as well 🙄. Pedals alone were twice the value

  9. yeah, even if locked with those Thule knob locks, I don't let it out of my sight, sometimes use my U lock though
  10. Mine is with Naked, and cover also excludes "inside of vehicle"
  11. Strange they usually use a direct courier like Fedex, keep us in the loop
  12. AMS is bomb proof , had that previously, only went with Armour as I did my whole bike whereas I just had AMS on certain areas, also more forgiving to apply
  13. Yes, but I think they have a national footprint via bikeshops, give them a shout
  14. Also have Armour Ride and it has held up nicely , even on the bike’s funny angle areas. Not sure how patient you are but they also apply at a cost as well.
  15. I see it’s 1607. Via the electronic newsletter on the event instagram page https://7cca0776.flowpaper.com/EventGuideATP23/?fbclid=PAAaZK7Twk14NaiWXlPILkZsfH2GrJuYTN1L8VGQBJIeizCcxhyHY7Xbdso4Y_aem_AYtzmERabYSPcSiW25f6_SdzVD-NASAfdkF0EjkyTgeMfkWy8wlvtg2fuJdzCzlmO0E#page=24
  16. And you don’t find that too firm, interesting thanks
  17. Yes, the rain appears to have moved to Saturday! Hopefully it moves to Sunday!
  18. Can someone please give me a steer on tyre pressure? I know it’s a subjective topic but don’t have the benefit of time to test. It’s my first gravel event on a full rigid as well. For reference, I’m running the Pirelli Cintaurato 45M’s on rim with a 19mm ID. I weigh around 96kg. I generally run by MTB at 25PSI on the rear and 21PSI on the front, on a wider rim with inserts as well though. Took the bike for a spin on the road and ran 30PSI and that was very comfortable, but was on tar, the off-road sections I went over on the route also felt okay… Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!
  19. YR shows very minimal rain on Saturday - 0.4mm 02h00-08h00. Low temperatures though, but a very mild wind / breeze. Most of the rain is early Friday. It's my first time (first gravel event as well) - doing the 98km
  20. a few bits thrown together to make this.
  21. I see its a seeding event for CT, all be it a good few months before March, so not sure how much it will impact though.
  22. considering this one. Anyone care to share experience of it?
  23. Holding thumbs for this and hope the tour doesn’t finish with a whimper, Jonas looking all too comfortable though
  24. OP can you please share more details of this incident?
