All good and well, i know people with cranks that broke and they had to buy new. Fortunately they still have the broken unit, and I’d expect they will be given a replacement. Does not help if your crankset shows signs of imminent failure and they don’t have stock to replace as mentioned on another thread

Yeah , the R400 did sound steep, Wondering about this one for next year, sounds like quite a small event and maybe they need to find their feet..

I was intent on doing the shorter version, but the additional R400 for the vehicle transfer was off-putting for me.
