  1. Yes... bigger guys need higher numbers
  2. Okay, so on the lighter end of the scale, heavier okes might get less stellar longevity perhaps.

  4. Whether it was in his personal capacity or not, this talks to his character, he without a doubt operates similarly within his business. He needs to be taught a lesson
  5. Would the same be true for the X01 vs. the XX1 cassette as well? Have to change cassette some time and already have XX1 chain ready, but undecided on the cassette. Price difference is substantial.
  6. Yes, and I guess with a purchase this size - it would have helped.
  7. I asked a similar question earlier about Admin action. The Hub is being abused by all and sundry, be it the Stolen bike section where people post stuff then disappear to these dodgy dealings. Implementation of a rule that you cannot sell unless you've been around and are part of the "community". Use the ratings system.. Etc.
  8. A brand new Raleigh? Didn't know they were still manufacturing? The story sounds dodge though.
  9. He is a scammer. Plain and simple. His behavior speaks volumes. Showed a total disregard for his part in this. Admin will you be taking any action? This is happening too often.
  10. Wow, all this unnecessary attacking. Why is this so complicated? A deal was done a with a "reputable" dealer on a trusted forum. People are now cross questioning the buyer about his due diligence on the item. Yes - alot of money was handed over - but really, was he supposed to check the crank arm length as well? He stated that this was stipulated as a requirement upfront? Why is all of this now his problem and put down to school fees? Name the seller, BikeHub should also prevent him from trading here going forward as well.
  11. Thanks
  12. also looked.
  13. Damn, thanks for the heads up also have the Henge on the roadie - no issues for years, and the Phenom on MTB's. What do they recommend as a suitable replacement for the Henge?
  14. damn hope it turns up, I am lost without mine - a really lekker device. My bracket also gave up the ghost a while ago, so I am just using those bands at present.
  15. That's what I did. Have evaluation from bike shop.
  16. Send specs of bike along with proof of ownership to LBS. Get quote for replacement if lost or irreparable damaged. Send to insurance and pay premium accordingly. What am I missing here?
  17. Have one of these
  18. Yes. Sounds plausible. He is offering to sort out issue as well
  19. Thanks.
  20. Modus operandi? Rack arm cut off?
  21. As someone mentioned earlier the Specialized EMT which is also permanently exposed doesn't have these issues, I've had mine for about 4 years and has minimal corrosion
  22. +1 on shockwizz. Try Neville at Bikemob as well. He knows a few things about suspension
