Insurance is Santam and their service provider is CBR. Waiting a month for this to be sorted out.

For those that have used CBR before. Did you only send the damaged parts like wheels and frames to be inspected? I know several people that only sent wheels or frame to be inspected. I must for a second time send my bike for inspection not just frame and wheels after hitting a pothole. That now includes tires and bend skewers. Wonder if I should send the inner tubes as well... Apparently CBR only does a low level inspection and if you question it, then only then do they a full inspection. Wonder if they need the saddle and saddlebag as well? Wonder how many cyclist is riding around risking their lives on damaged parts.

Planning the 500km but will be tuff without a bike.

Willing to let us know what was the amount? Below or above R30k?

I would disagree. I had the same issue on the battery and my numbers was inaccurate (self installation). Spoke to Dylan from Positive sports (old Token) and send my unit to them. It took about 2 weeks (over xmas) got the unit back and was spot on. Battery last about 3 to 4 months and my avg power readings compared to my kickr was off by 5 to 10 watts. Seems that the unit didn't take the update and this is what caused the battery drain. Think you got a bad hand.

They acknowledge receipt on the 3 July of 8 documents that they requested. No movement since.

I wanted to ask the e bikes riders who are they racing, themselves or the motors in their bikes? It is a #a# feeling being passed by 1 of those things grinding your way up longtom or spitskop and they pass you without breaking a sweat. Doing a race like this on a ebike is like riding the route in car.

It's so nice to see Valancia Rider 956 recieve motor pacing on stage 3 passing me at 48kmh. Don't know fot how long but it was long. Finally caught him about 5km from the end with a mixed groul from A and B.

Still waiting for my audit to be finished. Tomorrow will be a week since I submitted my audit documents.
