Well from my side, thx OP. You might have saved a few hubbers some hard earned cash. Dodgy sellers should be named and shamed. That being said, the seller's name/rep should be restored if he/she has a valid excuse and have rectified the situation

I have been waiting patiently for my rollers (still stuck at customs ), but you guys are making the “patiently” part very difficult! Can’t wait to try them out when they get here. And yes, it will be my first time on rollers so I might just post a crash compilation vid soon

The standard evo and the snakeskin version are worlds apart! I find the snakeskin version's grip is way better (I think it is due to the stronger sidewalls). Sure, this is not the best all-round tyre, but definately one of the best racing tyres IMO. Tyres like the Ron's will be better for racing but at a protection cost.

only the bigger events are seeded. MTB seeding differ from road seeding so they wouldn't use your road seeding for MTB events. Babaas is a good event to start with, but it is also boring as hell imo. It's still good for the first race.

I guess I need to play around with my tyre pressure. I am running them slightly above 2 bar at the moment because it seems that they will “bottom out” at lower pressures when I hit big stuff at speed. BTW, I was running the Bontrager 29.3 team Issue tyres before. Excellent all condition/terrain tyres with good grip. They are very strong and last extremely well. I’ve done 3000km + on one set and the front tyre is still good to go (the rear is up for replacement soon). In the 3000km + I’ve never had a puncture that my Stans did not sort out immediately (and I’ve been riding some sketchy terrains at times).

Don't you guys find the Racing Ralphs a bit "light" in the grip department for a front tyre? I've been testing the RR and found that they are fast but not that grippy if you want to ride corners hard

I'd say 2 bar should be fine. She is light so lower pressures will sufice, however you can't go to low seeing that the setup is tubed and not tubeless

Thx Covie, I'll try your fix. I just hope there is nothing loose inside the camera like Zook(I think) mentioned. I wouldn't be cutting my GoPro open to do an internal fix anytime soon :-P BTW, I use the Sony SW that GoPro SA mentioned. Great SW IMO but not the easiest to use for beginners

I’ve heard there is a product that you can apply (spray) to the lens (the cover, not the camera lens itself) that keeps the lens clean (e.g. water just run off it so you don’t get blurred videos after just 1 water crossing etc). Has anyone tried this and does it actually work?
