  1. I agree, seeding should determine your batch. That is the whole point of seeding in the first place. But yes, it seems SAS has issues and batch allocations are not 100%
  2. click on the "search seeding" tab (@ www.saseeding.co.za) and enter your details...
  3. I got a rating after my first SAS race, but the rating remained the same since. I have 4 or 5 other races(on the SAS race list) on my seeding page but I received no rating for them and my rating remained the same.
  4. Ok so I guess I am ranting because I just don't know the answer. What is going on with the seeding score on the SAS website? My SAS rating is exactly the same as a year ago. I've been going much better in SAS races since then but for some reason my rating remains the same since my first SAS race last year? What am I missing?
  5. Who needs socks when you are doing the 70km race in your vis plakkies :-P
  6. I'll settle for that
  7. still no results???
  8. You have to pay R1000 into my private account
  9. Thx jcza
  10. Agreed!I always wonder why some events' results take a week to be posted?
  11. please let us know the what the organisers reply
  12. I fix my flats in 1 second - it's called T U B E L E S S :-)

  14. Entries for sani2c 2013 Entries for the sani2c 2013 will open to all 2012 participants only, today 2 July at noon. The entry process will be registration only and you will only be required to pay when payments open from 16th July until 31 July 2012. Please note that you will only be allowed to register for the event you participated in 2012. We will allow changes only once entries have been finalised. Although there is no need to rush as you will have until 31st July to enter we will be limiting entries to 650 teams per event. (This year we over stepped the mark and had over 700 teams in the adventure.) This means that not all 2012 participants will be guaranteed of an entry for the 2013 events.
  15. Get a roller (one with a resistance setting) and whatch TV while you ride. It works for me

  18. Do what Ryan said. It is actually a tip that Camelbak give on their website. Don't waist your money on the sleeve
  19. Ok so who of you are planning to enter the 94.7 MTB cycle challenge? I did this race last year but I did not enjoy it. I was hoping for more technical/fun sections but the track was pretty uneventful IMO. I understand that, when planning a race for the masses, the organizers can’t include things that will cause bottlenecks. I was one of the lucky ones that started in the A batch last year so I did not see any bottlenecks, but some of my friends that started in later batches complained about bottlenecks at very easy sections in the route (which can be expected from MTB races with high numbers of competitors). These days I find myself avoiding most of the mass-entered MTB races, while only going back to a few of the best races each year. So, even though I did not enjoy this race, It does not mean you did not/would not in future. What do you guys think? Anyone else giving this race a skip this year or is it just me?
  20. +- how much? I dont mind paying more if I know the guys will do a good job. I am fed up with cycling shops with poor servicing...
  21. I have much wilder dreams than that! #justsaying
  22. perhaps she forgot to change her suspension from from the lock-out setting? ok sorry this is just lame
  23. I think she missed the sign...
  24. And yes it is important IMO. Servicing your suspension regularly will increase the lifespan on it
