  3. I also ordered one Must have been second last one. Ordered Wed was at home yesterday already. Really good service. I will never buy from CRC if CWC has this service and Pricing.
  4. Pro Cycles in Benoni I used them more than 1.5 years ago and still ride the frame. Only cost me R1000. Really do a good job
  5. Hi Father Christmas, I know it is a little late but i would really like: RocK Shock Reba 2011 Dual air 100mm
  6. the bearings are not the best but you can replace them with better ones. A rule of thumb is add additional grease even to new BB's and they will last.
  7. no problems either and serviceable. Looks good too for that price.
  8. Sorry Link http://www.procycle.co.za/carbon_repairs.html
  9. These guys did my Merida FLX a year ago and still running strong. Highly recommended. Only cost me a grand.
  10. Had a pair of TNT too, was not impressed with the handling. There are 2 ways to install them 1. For fast rolling 2. For grip. I installed them for fast rolling and really came undone on more than one occasion. Front seems to washout a lot when going aggressive into corners. I thought there was something wrong with the way I ride. Changed my tyres and never fallen since then Touch wood. I prefer Mountain king/Race King option.
  11. Carbon is all about how you fall, as long as the frame is not impacted by a sharp rock then most times it will survive. I was hesitant to buy a carbon bike, and then I took the plunge and two weeks later I hit a rock after an endo and damaged the frame. I had the frame repaired (most times easier to repair than alu). I have since been riding that frame for more than a year (done Sabie X) without any issues. Carbon definitely more comfortable than Alu when it comes to hardtail.
  12. Tx for the advise gents, Johan, where would one be able to buy an extra air cap for the Reba.
  13. Tx Johan, Will give this a try during the week. Obviously if you remove the Damper, does the oil volume still stay the same for that. Tx in advance.
  14. Came across this post by Racer X https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/20977-rs-motion-control/page__p__382172__hl__motion+control__fromsearch__1#entry382172 Where do I order the Pure Delite Cap from?
  15. I have serviced the Shock but i still get oil running out the top from the damper side. It seems the leak is between the metal cap and the plastic thingy the poploc attaches to.
  16. Hi, My Roxshox Reba SL is leaking oil at the top of the Damper, and I was wondering if it is possible to remove the damper instead of spending R800 on a new damper. As the whole damper is all one piece. If i do remove it, How do i plug the top of that fork. I know this is a flyer, but is this possible? Tx in advance.
  17. These guys in Benoni did my carbon repair on my hardtail last year july. Since then did all my riding on it including Cradle Quest, Sabie X and all training without any problems http://www.procycle.co.za/carbon_repairs.html
  18. I had Saguaro front and Mezcals back and hated them. Under racing conditions i lost my front wheel many a times. For training never had any issues. I went back to Conti and will never touch the Geax again.
  19. Race with the fastest avg speed:Fast One Toughest race (left you tired and sore): Sabie Classic 100KM Most fun: Greytown/Sabie Experience Never-miss-this-one: Sabie Classic Race you are gaurenteed to fall: Magalies Monster Race with the highest top speed achieved: Sabie Worst race (One you won't do again EVER!): Day 3 Sabie Experience 2008
  20. I thought the same about rider congestion when we did the Provincials here earlier in the year. It turned out not to be a problem. On 24 Hour events riders are not racing full out and will have enough time to let faster riders through. We did 5 laps then and it was definitely hard, but the 24 hour route has been made easier.
  21. My 2c on Wasp flavoring: Bought Crazy Berry Gel, Chocolate Recovery and Naartjie Amino Carb. The only one that tastes anything like it should is the chocolate Recovery drink (Really nice, best around). The Gel and Amino carb just tastes really ****. I find it very difficult to get the Naartjie amino carb down especially during races. I will definitely be going back to USN until the flavour is better, regardless of the benefits Whasp can offer.
  22. Bugger the rain, I think we must be more worried about the wind.
  23. Rode over one of them at SBR while doing the mtb route along the fence. I sh@t myself
