  1. Yep, the cost thing can obviously be easily overcome. Took one of my wife's old discarded deep sauce pans and I cook up my brew on the electric stove whenever needed. Afterwards I just leave the mix in the pan to cool down and set, then store it away until I need it again. The main benefit for me is that the lube actually gets into the places where it is needed if you "cook" it in the pot/pan. Drip dry and then wipe with a paper-cloth, nothing left on the outside to attract dirt and grime, the chain stays clean for very long.
  2. I use it with just the candles and lamp oil. The silence is amazing. As soon as I start hearing something, I know it is time for a dip in the wax. I'll never spend a cent on Commercial chain lube ever again.
  3. We will all be the winners if Roglic and Pog can stay upright for the full 3 weeks and they settle it on the road. Fingers Crossed that we get it this year.
  4. Those are the type of results you would want to see from a prospective TDF Green Jersey contender.....😈 (I'm not going to let this bone go until they unleash him to go chase it)
  5. Proper Poweslide during the pull-away... Would love to see the power readings...
  6. 'Bala' has a good history at L-B-L and with his 2nd-place on Wednesday, he has to be on decent form to be in with a shot. But I feel one of the younger ones are going to take it. Past winners: 2021 Tadej Pogacar (Slo) UAE Team Emirates 2020 Primoz Roglic (Slo) Jumbo-Visma 2019 Jakob Fuglsang (Den) Astana Pro Team 2018 Bob Jungels (Lux) Quick-Step Floors 2017 Alejandro Valverde (Spa) Movistar 2016 Wout Poels (Ned) Team Sky 2015 Alejandro Valverde (Esp) Movistar Team 2014 Simon Gerrans (Aus) Orica–GreenEdge 2013 Dan Martin (Irl) Garmin–Sharp 2012 Maxim Iglinsky (Kaz) Astana 2011 Philippe Gilbert (Bel) Omega Pharma–Lotto 2010 Alexandre Vinokourov (Kaz) Astana 2009 Andy Schleck (Lux) Team Saxo Bank 2008 Alejandro Valverde (Esp) Caisse d'Epargne 2007 Danilo Di Luca (Ita) Liquigas 2006 Alejandro Valverde (Esp) Caisse d'Epargne–Illes Balears
  7. Sainz will be having some more impetus this weekend...
  8. That was very close for the Vet.
  9. "Sprint Trains" are now in full force to put their peak riders in position for the finish... 9km to go. Tune in now if you can...
  10. 2 riders added to the breakaway, now 6 riders up the road, but only 20s lead with 24km to go.
  11. FYI. 30km to go, Impey is up the road in a 4-man breakaway...
  12. La Flèche Wallonne Femmes Top 5 12:26 1. Marta Cavalli (FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope) 2. Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar) 3. Demi Vollering (SD Worx), +10'' 4. Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio (SD Worx), +17'' 5. Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo), +30''

  14. The traditional approach would dictate that you need to be on the Start-list to win it, so I would be somewhat surprised if he does take the W... 15. I'd throw Pidcock in there with a chance... And, the VET will undoubtedly finish in the Top 10....
  16. 😂
  17. As we just saw with Lampaerd, it ain't over till you cross the line... But WvA et al are racing for Silver now.
  18. Opi you Dumbass!
  19. What happened to Lampaerd there?!
  20. We don't know his true condition. The team doctor does, so I would trust in their decision. WvA won't race to "just make up the numbers", IMHO. If he isn't in peak form to win, he will be burying himself for a teammate, probably for Lapporte. What a blessing will that be today to have WvA chasing down a threat for your own ambitions. For that reason alone, I think Lapporte and WvA has a serious chance to win today. But beating MvdP is going to be very tough. He surely is the favourite
  21. Agree 99.9%, the young guns seem to be dominating. BUT, this is sport. Anything can happen (A sneaky Sagan win will go down very nicely)😈
  22. Decent amount of previous winners are on the start line:
  23. Fairly confident in my following predictions: -Some people will have punctures -Some people will have falls -Some people will miss the key moves -When they reach Roubaix, someone is going to win
  24. Many Pro's have come back very strong after recent forced injury/ilness layoffs... Forced "Taper" means their freshness goes through the roof... Kwaito winning at Amstel Gold comes to mind (IIRC he and his family struggled with illness recently) https://www.flobikes.com/collections/tag/interview/video?playing=7694361
