  1. Going to miss you Mr Hawkins 😢
  2. Rest up big Wout... Refocus on Roubaix....😈
  3. Battle for GREEN is going to be unlike anything we've seen before! Unfortunately for Wout, he might still be required to ensure Roglic is safe at times and cannot be 100% committed to the battle for points.
  4. All I'm saying is that Tadej likes the cold races... But I do think a unexpected winner will slip away while the favourites cover each other.
  5. I know it isn't FB Marketplace, but it is a bit bigger than the Swap Shop down the road from me....
  6. Key point: If you see a good deal on Bikehub, jump on the phone to arrange the closure of the sale. If it means you need to drive to the seller with Cash-in-hand to close the deal, do it. Items priced correctly will go very quickly. Make sure you know what you want, know what you want to pay and close the deal when it pops up. You can't be angry at someone who beat you to it if you umm'd and ahhh'd.
  7. Agree. Checo is also showing solid pace, so that will very likely be a full 2 vs 2 battle between those two manufacturers. If GR can get in on the battle, it can only be entertaining to watch.
  8. The unpredictability of it all is what makes it "sport". Two cars running away from the pack at will is not fun. What we saw last night, that, was FUN! (Sorry Checo!) Long live the 2022 season!
  9. Lekker Checo! Except for Mick's shunt and the obvious concern with his wellbeing, this whole Quali result suits me very well.
  10. When was the last time that Hamilton didn't make it out of Q1? I think we can call it guys, Mercedes are NOT sandbagging..
  11. Deal 🍻
  12. Please send me a Pro-forma... I'll have the PoP in your inbox before lunch! Very nice idea. I'll see how I can replicate a similar concept for my own set of tools. Might need to reach out to buy some time on your CNC Router...
  13. I was today-years-old when I realized that SYSTM is the Sufferfest platform incorporated into the Wahoo ecosystem. I enjoyed the Sufferfest platform when I used it in the past.👍
  14. Thanks. That is the same year that Froomey did his Supertuck-Pedaling attack for the stage win. So the dropper wasn't competitive against a supertuck.
  15. I'm a little bit disappointed in the failure of the RB's, but that is largely offset by the good looking Red machines bossing the entire weekend. Reliability is the number one thing that can scupper all your efforts. Finishing 4th is a solid compromise instead of your car failing 2 laps from the finish and not scoring any points at all. LH will be relatively content with a head-start on Max for the season fight. Fingers crossed RB can find the cause of the problem so we can have a 3-manufacturer fight for the title this season.
  16. Actually quite chuffed for Mohoric, he was brave enough to try it at a major event and it worked out perfectly for him. The use of a dropper post has been talked about on here a while back as well as on GCN, IIRC it was all triggered when the supertuck was banned. Would we know if it was used elsewhere unsuccessfully? Or is this the first time it was used in the Pro Peloton that we know of?
  17. Interesting question. I have done a decent number of 90km+ road cycling events, which means typically anywhere between 2h40 to 3h05, when I can keep up with the main bunch. In these events, I was able to push through without needing so stop. But yes, try to relieve as much as you can as close as you can to your batch start. However, in my experience, if I progress slower because I'm not gunning it in a big bunch, closer to 4h on the road, then I tend to need to stop for a leak somewhere. So I pick a convenient location and just try to pick up a good bunch again after stopping.
  18. Oi, I'm going to have to enforce some royalties on that kind of blatant plagiarism... But it does seem like an obvious prediction... Question is: all the other teams know it is coming, what can they do about it? TJV to drive an insane leadout into the bottom of the Poggio for WVA to try and put the Pog out of position? Can WvA follow him and close the inevitable gap at the top during the descent, like he did with Allaphillipe? We are away for the weekend, in a location with VERY bad reception. But be sure, I'll make a plan to go hunt for cellphone reception at the opportune time. This fight is going to be great.
  19. What we wouldn't give to see this kind of points table if our mens side play in a tournament. Well done ladies! Just keep doing whatever is seemingly working for you!
  20. Takealot has a solid special on the Bosch Professional Cordless Drill today. Only 13 left https://www.takealot.com/bosch-professional-180-li-cordless-combo-drill-kit-18v/PLID71380860
  21. How comfortable are you guys riding with Laptops in the backpack? My spidey sense tell me this is a dumb idea with all the nasties out there?
  22. Any peeps with recent real-world experience on using the Gautrain with a bicycle? I used to do Cycle->Train->Cycle in around 2012-2013 and worked quite well back then. I left a 2nd bike, a 26er, at the "Office" side Gautrain Station and it was never in danger from what I could tell. I think a more sensible approach would be a foldable bike to just do the whole journey with. I presume the "inside a bag" requirement is still in place, as it ensures cleanliness of the facility and the train itself? I need to only do 6.5km on the "Office" side of the commute, so should be fine on a foldable bike.
