  1. Maybe, in your case, link a 2nd email adress to your existing one that you can use for Bikehub and any Spam logins.... FYI, "VanSwiss" is available: VanSwiss@gmail.com is Available for Registration
  2. Are you allowed to run LastPass on your browser?
  3. Have you seen what the price of fuel is these days....? It is almost like going Solar at home; At some point it will become unaffordable to NOT make the switch...
  4. I think the last time I needed to type in my login details was when the forum went through an upgrade.... And even if it is needed, LastPass is my go-to as I have different passwords for every single site I log into. (The leak at TransUnion should really have woken people up to the realities of the internet if they still have shared login details for various sites)
  5. Blaksam, well done to still keep tabs on the GC front runners while sitting with the first signs of Covid
  6. I have the greatest respect for Paul Willemse, watch this interview and see how his story unfolded. (Wish it was in English or Afrikaans, so we could get the emotion from his voice. But doing it in French brings home the concept that he has bought into his new country) I was in close contact with his mentor at the time that the offer came from the French club. It was a tough decision for him, but with hindsight, I think it was the right one for him. I'm not expecting everyone to love the guy, but I have heard some unfair comments thrown his way and just want people to give the guy some respect as a professional athlete doing the best with the cards he got dealt.(Not being picked in the training group of 80 players in the prime of your playing career sends a pretty clear picture) I can imagine he and Eben are looking forward to some intimate encounters in the near future.
  7. I'm right on your heels.... 2500m of climbing left....🙊
  8. Sprint Teams left this too late methinks... Breakaway is going to steal this...
  9. I think we don't even have the slightest idea of what the "good guys" are up against:
  10. The wife of a colleague of mine is an Industrial Engineer at ESKOM. She worked at Kusile, she now sits in the Strategic Planning department, she is sitting in meetings with Andre de Ruyter a couple of times a week. His summary of what his wife told him is that the rot is beyond repair. The company culture has just deteriorated to such a degree that it might just be easier to let ESKOM die and build up a new electricity generation and transmission company from scratch. But we know that can't happen. When I contemplated to do a solar installation a year ago, he told me to do it immediately, because things are only going to get worse going forward. The outlook for our electricity supply isn't pretty.
  11. STRONG breakaway established, 4min lead: Andrea Vendrame (AG2R Citroën), Mathieu Van der Poel, Stefano Oldani, Oscar Riesebeek (Alpecin-Fenix), Valerio Conti (Astana Qazaqstan), Santiago Buitrago, Jasha Sütterlin (Bahrain-Victorious), Wilco Kelderman (Bora-hansgrohe), Simone Consonni (Cofidis), Magnus Cort Nielsen (EF Education-EasyPost), Vincenzo Albanese (Eolo-Kometa), Lorenzo Rota, Rein Taaramäe (Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert), Pascal Eenkhoorn, Gijs Leemreize (Jumbo-Visma), Michael Schwarzmann (Lotto Soudal), Will Barta (Movistar), Davide Ballerini (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), Lucas Hamilton, Matteo Sobrero (BikeExchange-Jayco), Nico Denz (Team DSM) and Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo).
  12. You are a day early Dale... that is the Profile for tomorrow This is the profile for today. But yes, still one for the breakaway IMHO
  13. Thanks, that was a good read.
  14. He might be a bit disappointed in his results, but I have to say, he did hit the deck quite hard on that tough uphill finish on stage 1. He would have had a 3rd-place finish there and then most likely some better results in the rest of the stages if he didn't make contact with the tarmac.
  15. Winds... Teams trying to split it... 80km out. Tune in if you can
  16. Silver lining from all the drama of the damage to his eye: He can go recover and build up again to be in peak form for Le Tour... giving the other puncheur-sprinters a hard time on the biggest cycling platform there is.
  17. Girmay to put on the Ciclamino Jersey with that win?
  18. Girmay you bizkit! To beat MvdP is a big achievement!
  19. Riders are going to sweat this next week, as temperatures soar. Temps might be hitting 40s in Spain or France. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/may/16/unusually-high-temperatures-to-hit-western-europe-this-week
  20. To keep us all properly on our toes w.r.t. team names, Deceuninck is joining Alpecin in sporsorship of the team currently known as Alpecin-Fenix. At LeTour it will be Alpecin-Deceuninck, not to be confused for the team that Julian Allaphillipe will be representing, Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl(Formerly known as Deceuninck-QuickStep) 😵
  21. Very true. Pierre Spies comes to mind, also a Nylstroom native, got picked up by Affies after he was identified in primary school as a promising talent.
