  1. We are very happy with our bike. We had a RAVO before we got the TITAN, but the Titan is much lighter and it climbs and sprints very nice. We bought the frame from Marco and built Shimano Ultegra parts on it.
  2. This is our (myself and the wife) pride and joy. We have had the tandem now for about a year and we put special 34 spoke ZIPP wheels on it. It was, according to Marco, the first tandem in South Africa with ZIPP wheels. Since August last year we have seen one or two more tandems with ZIPP's on. It goes like a rocket, if we are in form We've had a lot of success on it so far, that is if Jurie is not racing
  3. Great pics ! So Valverde thinks he is the PRINCE of Spain ... Mmm I think Sastre could then claim himself as the King of Spain.
  4. It's a bit far to go, but myself and the wife will join you guys. There is a race on the Sunday, but if you promise to take it easy we will be there
  5. I got all these pictures of the net. There a lot of you under www.snappysnaps.co.za
  6. You made it rad Well done, go get that pedals you wanted.
  7. and more ... Going for the sprint finish
  8. More pictures of "the rad" Still looking nice and fresh ...
  9. Very good fandacious
  10. Rad well done my boy !!! You suprised me a LOT, I personally didn't think it was possible on that bike
  11. Wow 60-80 km on a mountain bike training ride. You are a serious offroader my friend.
  12. Nice pic's, thanx Austin. I think Neotel, if they are in SA at that time, is going to hurt the Elite bunch at the Jock
  13. Very nice bike ! It does look a bit like a LOOK, but it is very nice
  14. I see both Slipstream and Highroad has got new kit for the Tour. Slipstream looks ok but that Columbia outfit doesn't look great
  15. These pics are classic guys !
  16. My question is : What's he still doing in the old IBM Lotus kit ! That kit is 10 years old man, you should have gone through 10 sets of clothes from then till now. Outcome : Ride more assh@le, o yes and wear a helmet dammit !
  17. HR you really opened a can of worms with this topic, but it is a good one I think we must respect everyone's opinion on it and do what makes you feel good about yourself. If you do not want to race, or train, on Sunday's because of your faith, that's very good and should be respected. Unfortunately I couldn't get hold of the artical yesterday at the CNA, would have loved to read it. HR, don't you wanna type it out for us on the hub
  18. I sat there the whole time and can you believe I missed Barloworld !!! I think it was when I went to get a few more beers out of the fridge and got stuck on a piece of chicken leg.
  19. This was awesome news when I heard it yesterday on 702 !! I spoke to the guys on Supercycling about it and I'm just glad it happened BEFORE the start and not in the Tour. That might have been a problem for him and the team. But, CONGRATS Robbie, this is just the motivation he needs to win that green jersey. Can't wait for tomorow !
  20. It's true what Slowbee says, one must respect those sport stars that do not want to take part in races, events on Sundays. I had a lot of respect for Kosie because of that, but it did mean that he lost out on a lot of prize money for not racing on Sundays.
  21. HR, this is also a very touchy subject for me, I hate having to race on Sunday's. I wish all races could have been on Saturdays, if I go do a race on a Sunday it means I cannot go to church since we only have morning services. I am also very unpopular with the family about it as well. I'll see if that specific issue is still in the CNA, and read all about it. Thanks
