    Seeding just came out, its normally released a few days after the event .. Next PPA event you get your latest seeding as per PPA site WCE: Beta of 0.62 .. and I still improved my seeding index by 1.5 from CTCT time, same group still though (Just) … next time go for the sprint finish Interesting .. winner time not adjusted much, 01:55:26 .. only 2 minutes

    I don't do the essay thing .. but was something like : Froze, hid behind people from cold, died up a hill, got frustrated with slow pace in middle, tried to make few pulls but dropped bunch each time , gave up, sucked some wheel. Died up another hill, got myself at front of bunch in last 1km , kept myself out of the bunch sprint and finished with good time

    First time not getting dropped from starting bunch , first top 100, first top 10 bunch finish.. probably cannor complain, but bloody hell, it was freezing❄️❄️

    Did my first "MTB" event this weekend on my steel (4130) road bike with 28mm tyres. (11.5kg ). I will definitely think twice before doing similar event on my normal MTB . The steel frame was buttery smooth, soaked up all the bumps, flats was damn fast on the "skinny" tyres at 5bar. Now just to find one with gears …. n+1

    The amount of bikes that was left unattended/unlocked yesterday was just insane, i'm supprised not more was stolen.

    That was fun day out and great start to my season.. Did it on fixed gear road bike.. The road gearing did NOT work on some of the hills but passed tons people on flats . Those 28’s really rolled nice on the jeep tracks..

    Its live, was fixing technical glitch and removing all guys that took the short route.. Also. Its preliminary, so if wrong, drop them email so can get sorted..

    Stupid question, its cheaper todo each day individually (R900) than the 3 day stage race (R1200) .. so what do one get extra on the 3 day stage race for the extra R 300, I don't see any anything ?

    ok.. so I entered last minute no training, just lots of stupidity... my normal method of doing long distance events.

    I use formula of 50% of new price and R1k/year deduction . I bought few things of the hub, never had issue, but you have to be quick to get the right priced items . Got indoor trainer other day for R250, bloody bargain!
