Great race... in fact unbelievable... feels like people will complain about anything... the forecast was that it was going to be hot... so should have packed two bottles and a camelbak (ie maximum)... There was so much right with the race and almost nothing wrong... why harp on about the few things the minority had a problem with

My biggest gripe was that I couldn't see where they were growing the cheese

Exactly! I did check around though and the IKONs seem to have a good rep

Are the Maxxis IKONs that bad? I just bought a set off CWC whilst on special - should I question using them? I was on Conti's before and must admit that the IKONs tread looks a lot "smaller"

3 weeks since i broke the collar bone and im back on the spinning bike... No pain at all... rather just what feels like a really stiff and weak shoulder... Hope I can get it to full strength fairly quickly

Patches! Just the kind of positive news i was hoping for! Did you take any falls after the 4 week period and did the plate hold up? I have a ski trip planned exactly 7 weeks after date of surgery and I am hoping to ski - my concern is since it is my first time i may take some falls but hoping that it wont be too risky?

Going to start some spinning next week Tuesday which will be 13 days after plated surgery.... Shoulder doesnt feel sore at all currently, so although it may sound early I am hoping it wont cause any damage?

Thanks Jorsie. Tell me how long was it before you got full range of motion back in your shoulder? Was it after this 4 week period? Not sure if you are a gym bunny but how long was it till you could do the same kind of strenuous activity with your shoulder as you did before? Sorry for all the questions...

Hi guys. Had the op two days ago. Pretty painful. Gonna drink lots of milk and do any rehab proper.... here's hoping in 7 weeks I'm strong like bull again?
