  1. Agreed.... undulating course... altitude... heat... gonna be tough
  2. Havent looked carefully but im sure the "nose" of the prologue is long enough to grip onto?
  3. Excellent points - specifically re durability Never thought of whether the Prologue can stand up to a beating
  4. Thanks for the response. My view is also similar - in that I think the distinction between MTB and road saddles is minimal
  5. Hi there, Searched various threads and cant find an answer... so I turn to thehub... Any users with experience of using Adamo saddles for mountain biking? I know there is a specific version called the Peak that can be used for mountain biking - BUT I have been given an Adamo Prologue saddle. I currently use the Prologue on my road bike which I LOVE. only saddle that doesnt give me dead d!ck. So my question, rather more simply, is do you think I can slap the extra prologue on my MTB?
  6. HAHAHAHA.... I love the Tri Rock oaks... but there "administration" needs some work
  7. a) Probably would have been quicker if he just walked the drop off b) Unlikely you will get the saddle pointing straight perfectly first time c) You will never get the saddle height back to the perfect spot - thus stuffing up the rest of your ride
  8. I am not so certain - but hope so. I had a couple mates keen on Tri Rock Durban this year - however most of them have opted for IM Durban. Two events in Durban 2 months apart when just 2 years ago there were none - is silly in my opinion.... More sense if one was at beginning of year and 1 at the end
  9. This was where Tri Rock's swim was "supposed" to start last year - but the sea was so crazy we had to move further down the beach and then do a short run to transition... We started further down the beach where things were shielded but where we came in the surf was CRAZY... ask anyone who did the race - hectic stuff
  10. So EXACTLY the same as TriRock #deathofTRIROCK
  11. fook me... the IM brand is strong
  12. Schedule received... 10 days before event...
  13. FINALLY found stock at design in motion... Although I LOVED the creme soda flavour (found it just delicious) the new Natural Citrus Marathon is an awesome awesome drink - well done. Personally I think the decision to use Omnico for the distribution is the route of why EVERYONE complains about finding stock difficult
  14. Hi there, I have a garmin 910xt. Can anyone direct me how I can sync my garmin data such that "it goes into" Training Peaks
  15. Forgive my ignorance - but is Tour Durban also a half iron man distance event?
  16. Well they have got 962 entries in less than 24 hours... so as anticipated no problems there...
  17. Hope Tri Rock still happens - as October in my opinion is just a better date That being said I fear for Tri Rock Durban
  18. Logistical miracle when another company (Tri Rock) has pulled it off two years in a row?
  19. Dave I must concur... As this came out I thought of what this would mean for Tri Rock? Yes Tri Rock had some teething issues BUT the event itself and route etc was really enjoyable. There is NO WAY two half iron distances 2 months apart will work in Durban. Initial reaction from colleagues in the office is that they cannot believe the cost of the event
  20. R2500 early reg R3500 late reg !!!
  21. That is the cycle route Tri Rock Durban used last year... And let me tell you its an awesome FAST piece of SMOOTH road....
  22. I wonder what the turn out for this race is going to be? Theoretically I would expect a large field
  23. Ok so on Tri Rocks facebook page they have confirmed the road will not be tarred and that they NEVER promised it would be... They have promised a smooth surface to the exit... All I care about is getting to the exit on smooth surface and not slogging away on bumpy uphill worrying about punctures... I leave it in their "capable" hands
  24. "Gunk" build up I have noted but not substantially - like I said if you apply the night before and wipe off excess/dont over apply... no problems
