  1. Oh my, now I need clean up the mess I just made...
  2. Looks very much like a small version of the Evolve..
  3. Riverstone lodge, out to the caves, back past the lions and past teak place, back from the circle and home to Riverstone lodge
  4. What kind of discount on an electric unicorn? Or a perpetual motion machine? Scam.
  5. :-) yeah, all a bit inconvenient... Comedy gets better when, after having chased my wife around to bring me the spare, A. The little metal skeleton key is missing and B. the key battery is flat. (Came out of a sealed plastic packet.) ...and then BMW were nice enough to tell me that they can't change the battery because it charges itself when it is in the ignition... And they do run flat if you don't periodically use the spare. Uhm, ja I'm sure that sounded like a great idea in a lab
  6. Hey folks, I somehow dropped my car key in the Cradle this morning. A black BMW key with a miniature Ceepo frame key ring. My eyes are still watering from the last time I needed to replace one of these, so if you picked it up, or know of someone who did, I'll happily put up a R500 reward. You can Email me Dawie.olivier@standardbank.co.za or PM me or call/SMS/Whatsapp me on 0836515631 (phone might take a while, it's in my freaking locked car)

That was one WICKED cool bicycle... Maybe we can convince Pat to extend that line a bit? I would pay a premium for one of those.
  11. Or rob at booth cycles as per op
  12. Cho cho cho, just realised why I was struggling to breathe! The air is thin up here in Ultimate Hubber Land!

  14. nice bike.
  15. If anywhere within 100km of the big smoke, you really want to make a little stop at the red nipple, yellow saddle guy.
  16. Add Sufferfest to Trainerroad and you have one killer IDT combo.
  17. Reckon that GPS-Navy format is going to be VERY popular soon. A massive reduction in the amount of work and cost involved. And it adds a nice twist for the participants. Very cool.
  18. Did the Dusi2C over the weekend. Routes were entirely unmarked, but the organizers provided the route online to be loaded onto a GPs device. I thought this worked like an absolute treat and look forward to more of these! And then of course, there is the legendary trail-building skill of the super-farmers from the Midlands...! Bravo to all involved, an AWESOME event all round!
  19. Rear hub spacing is different on a road wheel. May need to shim it a bit.
  20. 26 will work fine. Look for a REALLY old cheapo rim brake wheel. 9 speed will probably shift like cr@p. Put a new cassette on your bike, old one on the trainer.
  21. None. You set the campaign goal and put up a decent campaign. The only catch is that you must hit your target for the funding to kick in, else it goes away. Nice thing is that it is in USD, so 1:10ZAR A bit of journalistic flair for the appeal, maybe some sweeteners for early backers, ie personal updates on progress, pics with Fire at events etc, maybe an SA Champ jersey for the top backer? http://www.kickstarter.com/hello?ref=homepage
  22. Start a kickstarter campaign.
  23. FARG you guys are tiresome with his childish stand-off. Can we get back to this being a great place to have chats relating to cycling in all its awesome forms? Besides for this little infight, there are thousands of other members who don't give a toss about whether or not there is a secret clubhouse or whether some are pining to be in it. Move along, nothing left to see here.
  24. I would def buy one for my bike room.
