  2. Great info on the link thanks! Cool please let me know what they say.... Very true, the way I'll be splashing around might attract some attention from unwanted "friends"
  3. Me too, will do it with a wetsuit for sure! (think its allowed, just not eligible for prizes then) I don't know what the requirements are, website just has letter on and no info. http://www.freedomswim.co.za/ The facebook group would probably be the best place to ask.

  7. Awesome, thanks for the reply,I understand that allot of work goes into one of these events and is not easy. Its great that there is a platform where we can communicate and work to a even better Sasol Cross series. Thanks again and see you in Harties
  8. I must agree with you guys, although I enjoyed the race allot, there was room for improvement! The entry fee to enter venue was unexpected and we didn't have cash on us,luckily there was some small change. I stressed on the bike because there was no water point I was worried that the run will also not have one and the single track both directions was messy. And must agree the emails from Xterra guys were great... But all in all it was enjoyable, will be at harties next month.
  9. You will see me there for sure.Looking forward to the MUD....
  10. FYI weather for Sunday, looks like a hot one min 16° max 30°C 16% change for afternoon thunder showers 5km/h variable wind

  14. Cool thanks, did the Xterra lite there in Jan, just wanted to know if it would be the same level of difficulty (the run killed me!!)
  15. Thanks, just wanted to prepare mentally...
  16. Hi guys, getting close to the Buffelspoort one now. Does anybody know how tough the route (MTB/Run) is compared to Xterra lite?
  17. Just joined, looks like fun!
  18. Morning Hubbers! Yesterday I noticed one of the spokes on my rear wheel (MTB, tubeless) is slightly bent, should I be worried? Not sure if it happened this weekend and don't remember hitting anything. Thanks!
  19. Looks like a nice deal http://www.groupon.co.za/deals/national-deals/buy-cycle/3538733
  20. Oh yes, another question, why was the run route diffrent for the lite and full guys, as far as I read, was supposed to be the same?(full just 2 laps)
  21. It was a great event, and I enjoyed it alot!!! 2 things I noticed, firstly I agree with pervious post, also lost like 15 min on walk in the bike part, even though my swim was good. Secondly I don't know why there wasn't 2 transitions, it was a messup with full and lite guys using the same one... But big thanks to orginizers, was great event, and a lot of work must be put in that we don't see. And does anyone know where we can get photo's of the event????
  22. The weather report looks dry but hot, although a forecast is a week away and not very accurate normally. Saturday 28/01 Partly cloudy: 19/32°C, No Rain
  23. Make that 3, I'm in for the lite though, but cant wait!!!
