Good plan.... I had the assessor come round to see me after 10 days in hospital. I'm in bits and pieces as well as the bike, and the silly bugger asks me if this was the first accident the bike was in, and could the damage be caused by someone else. He was then given a quote to fix the bike by my LBS and then he held onto the quote for 2 weeks before submitting it to the insurance company.
