  1. Ja we should. Gonna suffer on those
  2. Totally knew that guys. Just testing you
  3. Ok well that doesn't sound too difficult I guess. I'll ask a friend of mine as well if he could help me
  4. Hahaha! I'm sorry, but who wears the pants in that relationship?
  5. Was considering the MTB race, but I managed to screw up my rear brake and it needs to be bled now. Don't have the cash to have it done at the moment or the tools and skills to do it myself. The roads cooler anyway
  6. This goes up Vissershok near the end right? Anyway, gonna enter this one as well. Always good fun.
  7. Well it worked! But I let air into the lines.. That means a trip to the shop to be bled as I don't have the proper tools.
  8. Haha! Excellent thinking! I've come across that problem SO many times.
  9. I have realized after the last couple of rides that I should really carry some money with me too,, Hitting the wall out alone in the middle of nowhere and you can buy nothing to eat, so you just have to suffer all the way home
  10. I carry 2 tubes, 2 CO2 bombs, 3 tire levers, a minitool and a cloth and some small strips of duct tape for small cuts in tires.
  11. Thanks so much! Gonna give it a go over the weekend.
  12. I think you get what you pay for
  13. I'm also having problems with my rear XT brake. Works fine I guess, but I always have brake rub. Bare in mind, I know very little about MTBs so a lot of what you're about to hear will shock you.. I was told by my LBS that the disc had warped and needed to be replaced. So brand new disc and pads went on. Still rubbed. I've tried a million "tricks" like adjusting the caliper etc, but all to no avail. Sorry for the hijack, but seeing as we're on the topic of XT brakes, any advice?
  14. That's be like putting GTI rims on your Ballade. If you want Campy wheels, you have to have Campy grouppo. Same goes for Shimano wheels
  15. I'm getting bored of Spaz..
  16. Ooh.... Very sexy Very old school looking. With the lugs and stuff. Straight tubing. Not like most modern bikes.
  17. Some really cool ideas
  18. Sounds really cool Love the idea for the wheels!
  19. No whatever bike you like
  20. Sounds very cool Look like nice frames those Colnagos. Don't really know much about them though.
  21. The only time you're ever allowed to have pedal straps on a bike is to stop you from ripping your cleats out of the pedals on a track bike. And on an oldschool fixie or something I guess.
  22. Heard lots of good things about that as well
  23. Giro Aeon http://www.giro.com/media/catalog/product/cache/7/image/424x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/g/i/giro_aeon_h_mtblkwht_34.jpg http://www.giro.com/eu_en/products/men/helmets/aeon.html Giro Ionos http://www.giro.com/media/catalog/product/cache/7/image/424x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/G/i/Giro_Ionos_H_WhtSlv_34.jpg http://www.giro.com/eu_en/products/men/helmets/ionos-17950.html I currently own an Ionos. Love it. Great venting, great fit, looks sexy and our favorite doper used it, so can't o wrong there. If I were to buy a new helmet, I'd upgrade to the newer Aeon, purely to see what it's like.
  24. I have been training during winter, just not racing. But ja, I had a bit of a blonde moment there.. Obviously the "penalized" races wont count towards my seeding once I start racing again
  25. Quick question, do the penalty points go away when you do a race again? Or are you stuck with them forever?
