  1. Hey, all my lines are French, because that's how I kiss the dirt if (when) I come off....
  2. Nah. No thanks. Even at my weight I'm not gonna stress over something like that. I ain't no freerider trying to do barspins on massive road gaps and drops, which is what I think this fork is made for (like the old Totem) I mean, the name is kiff and all, but I don't see the benefits of a stiffer fork than the lyrik or my Marz when I'm not anywhere close to challenging their stiffness. Damper upgrade, now that interests me. ???? Edit: However, if I was building a new bike or I needed a new fork and the choice was between this, the lyrik and anything else, I'd definitely consider it as an option. 38mm stanchions just look so much better than 35s
  3. Why you talk about me? ???? Nah, even I wouldn't want one when the lyrik is already so good. If I wanted to go back to a heavier fork, I already have the Marzo.
  4. I'd say that this is for freeride barspins. Like the old Totem used to be.
  5. Hahahahaa!! I despised watercolours when I still drew & painted. Pastels, oil and acrylic for me.
  6. What a race!!! Edit: gutted for Albon, though. That was bad form from the Chav.
  7. It's actually just funny because the spazzers get so darn uppity and indignant about the whole thing. So it continues, due to their own reactions.
  8. I seem to remember my grandfather complaining that walnut has gone to stupid prices over the last few years. Still a beautiful wood...
  9. Now, ja. It's like going to another world, now, when I go up there. I've said it before, if Durbs was run like how CT is, despite all CT's problems, Durbs would be BOOMING. That coastline is ripe for development and tourism. It's just sad that the powers that be just don't care.
  10. The capital of Fk It Hold My Beer. Also the capital of Do It Your Fkn Self, instead of "call a trades-person" to fix everything incl lightbulbs.
  11. YESSSSS RBS was a drool-factory for me, as was Gasoline Alley, where Thundersport and Ducati were based. Berea West Pre Primary, Sarnia Primary, Pinetown Boys High, Thomas More College for standard 9 & 10. I also wouldn't walk down there anymore, but I used to and have before with cash on me. Leigh's cycle centre was where I got my bicycle fix, when it was still in Pinetown. I used to work at the Hill Street Standard Bank in the early 2000's. That was on the upper end, which was still okay. That sports goods store (allsports?) was in the middle in one of those huts. Now, gone. Everything changed. Gov't just completely ignored the area, and it fell into disrepair and chaos after businesses started moving out. If it'd been maintained as it was in the 90's, it would have been a rad little place.
  12. Yeah, I heard so. That crowd moved slowly eastwards more towards Sarnia, Malvern, Northdene etc, from what I understand. Back in 2000 it was Pub With No Name that was my local.
  13. Yes. OMG the beef there. Went up to Bots about 10y ago, and I still remember it. Only one that's come close to that is the export quality SA meat that I had in Mauritius. And even then, not close. But. I'd far rather have our meat than the USA's average meat, going by how my mate raves about the quality of our meat vs the stuff available in the USA for the average consumer.
  14. Bahahahahahahahaha!!! Foook, that place WAS good-ish, back in the day. Back when the OK Bazaar and the cinemas were still in Hill Street and it wasn't a cesspit of vagrancy, drugs and taxis, though, it had started to get a bit roffies. Before my time, though, so I'm going on reports from my elders. I just witnessed the wholesale decline of that end of Pinetown over about a 10 year period. Started going down about when Sanlam Centre came online, if I remember correctly.
  15. It lets you in because it knows you don't care about its diesel and oil habit. So what if the old girl dribbles a bit, she's still got that sass! It just repels anything that's remotely pompous and over-justified.
  16. I'm a Pinetown boy. I have low standards, but high expectations.
  17. Hahahahaha!!! It would be repelled by the 90! The 90 has a built in anti-chav device.
  18. That's an excellent use of the skateboard!
  19. no apology necessary. It's you that's missing out. But ja, I understand what you mean. DL is right about the too much smoke thing. That's why I also like the snake method cos your smoke nuggets can be nicely spaced to give a good result according to your tastes.
