    That's it. Frame is a zero duty item, like all other bike parts. So VAT and then that 10% ATB which makes VAT an effective 15.4%

    To do the equation correctly, you need to drop the percentages from the values when calculating.

    That's cos it's only recognising the 5% as an actual percentage. ie it's thinking 30-(2*5%) = 30-(2*0.05) = 30-0.1 EDIT: No, wait. It's expressing the percentages as a decimal. 0.02 * 0.05 = 0.001 which is 0.1% Excel is a tricky bitch when it comes to percentages. As is the question, because if you do the calculation without dropping the percentages, it automatically reverts to the decimal equivalent, which corrupts the equation.

    20 Workings: 90= 3x cloud; Cloud = 30 30 - 2 Calcs = 20; 30-20 = 2 Calcs; 10 = 2 Calcs; 5 = 1 Calc Calc - Zoom = 3; 5 - Zoom = 3; 5 - 3 = Zoom; 2 = Zoom Cloudy - Zoom x Calc =? 30 - 2 x 5 =?; 30 - (2x5) =? 30 - 10 =?; ? = 20
