To clarify - the argument on cost would have some credence if coming from someone with low affordability and or earnings. Coming from someone with the affordability (most of the people on this forum) it doesn't have nearly as much credence. In my opinion, that is.

No, the part where you mentioned that "back home" its all about the money. Yes, there are a few people who make their money out of building and designing trails (Mark Gordon, Bennett Nel, Meurant Botha etc) but there is a Huuuuge volunteer component as well.

exactly. We were the better team on the day from an attack and temperament point of view. Yes, we got scuppered and denied a LOT of times, but we kept it together more than them and their tempers got the better of them when it mattered most.

Thing is the consequences are already set out. 3 year ban from any event organised by the stakeholders as well as a 3 year ban from the landowners that signed up (as per the first post) it just needs to be enforced.

The Welsh defence was outstanding. We gained almost double the territory that they did, but they held it and we basically won it through their mistakes. 2 men down in the first half allowed us to come back then, and then that STUPID tackle as the last movement. If that had been a proper tackle... We'd have been over and done with.

I managed to get my lightie to watch the full quali session with me, and Fast n Loud this am. If a program has cars, bikes or mickey mouse it's a hit.

And still, it's cheaper than riding once a month and buying a day pass each time. Still cheaper than a breakfast for 2 at spur, or a 2 hour sugar fest at the movies, and many many many other things we could do. The aquarium is R 110 per adult each time you go. I think (personally) that people just don't appreciate that you are riding in a national park. A thought I've just had: would that day permit be usable on Table Mountain side? Say ride tokai in the morning, then go to the front of Table Mountain in the pm. Seeing as there aren't any day pass stalls on that side and you need a pass to ride there...

Thing is, Dave, I can and I will. its still cheaper than a movie. and healthier. Once a month at R 135 per time is still cheap by anyone's reckoning.
