  1. Of course, bro. You know me - the Transformation build was 18 months ago. And I posted every. single. step!
  2. but yes - will send you some pics when I've built it!
  3. Rofl. I think you misunderstand - he just bought it! No way will he be selling it. Mine is still sitting at the LBS waiting to be built up. No way am I letting it go!
  4. 6k. A mint condition one would generally go for about 7 to 7.5k. I know someone who got one with 2 shocks for 7.5k, and it's in perfect condition.
  5. Amen to that. Just before the fynbos on Vasbyt was cleared (trimmed) I hopped one of those teeny little jumps and drifted a little left. Handlebar hugged a bush and STOPPED. I carried on... Laughed my ass off when I came to a stop.
  6. New, I have no idea. Probably round 11 or 12k for the frame. I know a normal Reign is available for 10k. But the one I'm getting is 2nd hand.
  7. Go for one of this year's versions, get them to drop their price, and then upgrade the wheelset and / or fork.
  8. You lost all credibility when you used "joplin" and "pimp" in the same sentence... Lots to learn you have, young padawan.
  9. Same colour, size Large. 2010 model. DHX5 Air rear end. To use with my existing Revelation until I swap that out for a Lyrik or Talas. http://www.giant-bicycles.com/_upload_us/bikes/models/zooms/2010/Reign%20X%20Frame_GE_GU_72dpi.jpg
  10. Yep... Exact same colour. Methinks it'll be looking good with my white stem, bars & wheels!
  11. YAAAAAY! Put a deposit down on one of these bad boys this morning. 2010 model. DHX5.0 air rear. http://www.giant-bicycles.com/_upload_us/bikes/models/zooms/2010/Reign%20X%20Frame_GE_GU_72dpi.jpg
  12. It actually looks good in the flesh, dude. On a small frame, it looks a bit miff, but on an m or l it looks good
  13. My hangover came back at 1min14. And I didn't have a hangover this morning, despite having quite a few (free) beers yesterday.
  14. Not to mention that you shouldn't be At Threshold the entire time anyway. You'd be burnt out after 3 days, as Dangle says. There are climbs where you're at 80-90% HRR, yes - but that is not the dominating environment. You cannot train just for all-out efforts and expect to be able to go for 4 - 8 hours at avg 70%, where the threshold efforts are max 30 mins at a time.
  15. Which is NOT what you're saying. Go back and read your posts again. And HIIT is not the best way to start training now if you have not trained before now. The best thing to do is to alternate. NOT solely attempt HIIT or threshold efforts. For farks sake dude, form an opinion. Then Stick By It.
  16. You'd better bring your A Game on Saturday... There's still another 400m to go after that! BTW - how'd the building go?
  17. I know someone like that as well... Meeeeeee! Found one 2nd hand and put a deposit on it. Now just to sell the dh bike to fund it.
  18. Boom! Even I, as a lay person, know that TITS is needed before any sort of interval training is attempted. Not even talking about HIIT, which is even FURTHER down the road. If you cannot ride at a certain speed for hour upon hour, you should not be doing intervals just yet.
